 Not normally one to travel Starla was amazed at the Eastern Territory. It was so lush and the grass felt so good under her paws. Plus from what she heard it rained her a lot and she was in love with rain. Not to mention a good friend of hers, Ama lived here and it would be great to meet with her again. Who knows maybe she'd see her on this visit. Or maybe not either way Starla was content. "This place is so amazing! I could stay here forever!"

She had no idea that with great beauty also came great terror. Hunter was roosted in a lush cherry tree, hidden by the pink brambles. She was hunting monkies...she looked like some horrid bird from a nightmare.
She spotted a little monkey climbing up the tree trunk. It didn't see her. She crouched, then pounced and grabbed it by the nape, shattering its neck and shaking it like a rag doll.
As she shook it, she severed the flesh and the body went sailing, going over several trees and a thicket of bamboo. It landed and rolled at the feet of the new helix who had come to visit.

Hearing something go thud Starla looked up to find the source of the noise. Eyes widening she gently nosed the body of the monkey knowing already that it's death had already come and that it had not been a merciless one. "Someone must be near....." Tensing her senses were on high alert trying to pick up on any and all presences in the area. "Anyone there?" Fur bristled she waited for any attack that may happen.

There was a crashing noise as something big and brown broke through the foliage. Red eyes blazing, Hunter entered the scene. She seemed so intent on the monkey that she did not even see Starla right away.
She spied her prize, then saw the wolf standing over it. She flared her wings and glared, teeth shimmering. "Mine." she growled, stalking closer. Her maw had monkey blood on it.

Though Hunter hadn't seen Starla, Starla sure saw Hunter. The bat helix was hard to miss especially with her red eyes gleaming like that. Being sure to distance herself from the older helix Starla sat down ever alert. "I wasn't planning on taking it I can feed myself just fine." She wasn't sure what to do. Even if she was strong and smart for her age this helix would have the advantage. With those wings she could have an aerial assult and she was older, more experienced. Things weren't looking to good if they got into a fight.

Hunter usually itched for a fight when she was hungry, being a cannibal, but today she was rather content with her monkey kill. She padded over, her huge claws flashing as she left ginat pawprints. She grabbed her monkey and began to brutally maim it, ripping it apart, blood staining her maw and paws. She looked even more feral. She flared her wings again, sniffing in her direction. "You don't smell like the east....visitor, yes?" she padded closer, maw wide.
She was still hungry.

Watching the brutal ripping of the monkey Starla was slightly disgusted. Sure she enjoyed meat just like any other helix but such a massacre of an already dead thing was just a disrespect to the monkey. When she was looked at she kept her disgust to herself. "Yes I'm a visitor. I haven't been to these lands in quite some time. I live in the Neutral area and my friend lives in these parts."

"Well, I can take you to your friend." she said, her fangs pulled back in a wide, frightening smile. "I know these lands very well." she was like the sly fox to the silly goose. Most pups were silly geese, but she liked it when the adults were too. "Come come. What is your friends name?"

"Oh? You know these lands? I've never seen you around before....." Not to say she had been around the area hardly at all but she didn't want this female to know that. "Her name is Ama. She's a unicorn helix." Even though she didn't know this helix she figured giving Ama's name wouldn't be bad right?
