How To Train Your Poke'mon
What you have to do is post 12 times with the poke'mon(s) your wanting to train picture and or name in it make sure you read the first post in what your posting in to make sure you can train your poke'mon there. A easy way to keep track of your training post is to go 1/12 on one post then the next post you make 2/12
How to Catch Poke'mon
Go to a thread that you know you can catch poke'mon in (easy way to learn is to see the first post of it) and train post until a moderator posts a wild poke'mon, then you just have to be the first one to attack it!
Poke'mon Stats
Your poke'mon levels, so what about its stats?
Yes your poke'mons stats go up as they level up. Damage for all the attacks it goes up by 1 each level and Hp goes up by 1 aswell.
New Attacks for Your Poke'mon
Think that your poke'mon should learn a new attack by now? before you add another attack please ask a moderator if your poke'mon should know another attack by now and what the damage rate for the attack is.
About Status Changing Attacks.
Some pokemon can learn attacks that will alter the opponent's status (I.E. Making it fall asleep.) Here is how you determine the damage/length of these stats:
Burn: To calculate the amount of damage burn does each round, divide your pokemons level by 2. level 50 and above, divide your pokemons level 2 times, such as 50/2=25 25/2=12.5, 12 would be how much damage burn does. Round down to the nearest number, such as if the lvl divided by 2 is something like 14.7, round down to 14. If you want to give yourself a challenge, you can round up to 15.
Sleep: If the attack is like Yawn, where the pokemon falls asleep at the end of the next turn, the affected pokemon's trainer chooses the "Random number" action and sets the minimum number at 1 and the maximum at 5. When you post, the random number is how many turns your pokemon will be asleep for. You may attack the next two turns (the one where the dice is rolled and the turn when your pokemon falls asleep) but you may not attack for the next # of turns your pokemon is asleep. The same goes for attacks where the pokemon is put to sleep immediately (like Sleep Powder) except you cannot attack the turn you roll the dice and you must stay asleep for the # of turns (no attacking the next turn.) Your pokemon may attack the turn it wakes up.
Paralysis: If your Pokemon is paralyzed, you must do the "Roll Dice" action, using a 12 sided dice if the opponent is two types (electric/water, normal/ground, etc.) and using an 8 sided dice if the opponent is one type. If you roll and get an even number, you may attack. If you roll and get an odd number, your pokemon is paralyzed and cannot attack for the turn. Post the post to see what you get first, and the you may edit your post to fit the number you got.
Poison: If your pokemon is poisoned, your damage rate is 1/3 your Pokemon's level.
Freeze: If your pokemon is using an attack where there's only a chance that the other pokemon will be frozen (like Dewgong's ice beam) you must do the Post Action "Roll Dice" with a 100 sided dice. If you get the percentage rate of freezing or lower (I.E. Dewgong's Ice Beam freeze rate is 10% so if you get a 10 or lower) the enemy will be frozen. The other trainer will have to do the post action "Random Number", the minimum is 1 and the max is 5. The number they get is the number of turns they cannot attack (including the turn they were frozen.) If the pokemon affected is a fire pokemon, the number of turns frozen may be reduced by 2.
Confusion: Generate a random number 2-5. This is how long the foe is confused. Whenever the foe attacks, he/she generates a random number 1-10. If odd, foe may attack. If even, foe takes 1/4 dmg of there weakest attack.
Critical Hits
If you land a critical hit, take the regular damage divide it by 2, then add that to the regular damage. If it end up something like 13.6 you can round up to 14 or down to 13
