Well, I'm quite sure we all have some concept of creating a home defense and/or an escape plan in the case of a possible undead invasion.
But, what would you possibly do when you find yourself shipwrecked on a small island beach, short on stamina with dusk just on the horizon.
By the way, did I mention every islander is a zombie xp
My friends, just what are we to do in such a situation?

Hmmmm, you ask a good question, sir. I'd probably climb a tree and stay in it until I came up with a plan.

Well, a lone island would, by all logic, either be the first/only occurrence or the last/unaffected occurrence. If, by chance, an entire island is infected without it spreading outside, your best bet would be to kill them all. After that, you can attempt to make outside contact.
Your first plan of action, since you're low on stamina, should be to find refuge either in your wreckage, where you can nicely shut yourself in, or in some sort of high location where you can hide. Zombies can't climb, but if you're in a tree and they see you, they may knock the tree until you fall down.
It may also be a good idea to grab a makeshift weapon and leave the wreckage. Chances are your wreck has gotten the attention of quite a number of zombies. Make it to some sort of safe location and build yourself some defense. If you can find, say, a house on stilts, you've got it made. Keep alert, and sleep only if necessary. Take note that surviving the first night is the key to surviving the whole ordeal.
The next day, find a good spot and start killing things. If you're lucky enough to have that house with stilts AND a rifle, start popping heads. In any case, a rifle is a good idea for you if you can get up high, but remember to watch your back. Kill everything you can as quick as you can. Don't waste energy or supplies, as you may be stuck there permanently if the rest of the world is gone as well.

Milady Violet Kinda reminds me of I Am Legend! xd What was with the daylight thing and the dogs, I thought they were more like vampires xp But what do I know, I thought the beginning of 30 Days of Nights was a zombie horror. rofl
