Yeah, I got a new Squier Vintage Modified 70s Jazz Bass for Xmas. It has a little bit of buzz, but other than that it's awesome.
And while I'm here, let's make this a "What guitar-related things we got for Xmas" thread.

Erm, my parents couldn't find the pedal that I wanted, so I got the money for one instead. I want to buy an overdrive or bluesy type pedal, so I was thinknig about getting either the OS-2 or BD-2. The MT-2 pedal is tempting though, even though I don't need one at all.

Does it count if you bought it for yourself? I never get anything from anybody but my girlfriend for Christmas, so I always buy myself something nice, and then act surprised when I open it at her house on Christmas. I bought this:

clikfix surprised if one was trying to buy a decent new guitar... were would one go? or to by good tabs on songs? Either Sam Ash, or Guitar Center would do well. Secondly, don't buy tabs. ultimate-guitar.com You will find most tabs that you want on there, and they're usually pretty close.
