While I'm a big Halo fan, I can't discredit Gears in any way. It has great gameplay and intersting weapons. A chainsaw attached to an assault rifle, yeah, I'm interested.

Both of them are amazing games, I can't wait for Epic Games next game to come out which hopefully is Bulletstorm two.
On a side note, though they are good games the population has done some wrong things to them. Like nerfing the Double Barrel in GoW3 and 343 decreasing the Armor Lock AA in their title update (Coming from a AL user >.>) Then again Reach and ODST are just filler games for Halo 4..

Actually, ODST was filler for Reach. Reach was simply Bungie's way of saying "thank you for sticking with us, now we'd like to go do something else for a change."
I also think its funny that Bungie normally made fantasy rts's before Halo. lol.
And I also hope 343 Industries doesn't ruin Halo, I am not honestly sure how I feel about the way the game is looking as they release things for it...
