Ridiculous Concept Contest Entry
Username: Dgcakes (cause I’s a hiccup whore)
Guardian Name: Lamnishan – a bouncy, happy, cuddly, nutty, goofball…….who also happens to be a berzerker for her job (but she keeps that outta the home life)
Guardian's Occupation or major pastime: Warrior of Vengence/Unemployed
Hiccup's Name: Leopold
Gender: Male
Vessel: Giant Leopard Moth bred to be extra huge
Spirit: Little boy who was born with dwarfism whose parents decided to allow doctors to try and perform drastic growth hormone treatments to try and correct it. These treatments resulted in his rather young death.
Two prominent Seasonal attributes: careless, outgoing, exuberant, witty, passionate (but mostly the first two biggrin )
Three physical attributes and how they relate to the spirit and/or vessel: * oversized Moth wings and antennae – it’s a giant leopard moth bred to be bigger than the usual ones so it’s already going to be a bit big in the at departmetn.. Also, the child had a large amount of growth hormone administered to him (which caused his death) so the wings and feelers might get affected by this and come out extra big. His wings should be white with essentially a mix of black spots and black outlined spots with silver centers (see here), since those are the wings the moth has.
* Disproportionate – his variety of dwarfism caused his features to be a bit disproportionate so he’ll physically be really small and have the unique features caused by the disorder.
* Little ‘legs’ – besides his human arms and legs, it might be cool if he had a pair of two of the moth’s three spindly leg sets. Legs shown here
How is this outrageous or different from normal Hiccups? Do you plan on carrying this through to roleplay situations?: The size and proportion differences are what would mostly make it ridiculous. Since the one was really young and naturally proportioned wrong, and the moth was full grown, bred to be huge, and will be affected by the growth hormone, it should permanently skew the way things look (that and the kid should probably maintain a really youthful look for a long while).
As for carrying the oddness aspect into rp, it’s kind of hard not to. Be it anything from having trouble finding clothes that fit to getting through doorways, it’d be a kind of big deal for the kid. Leopold will probably be very hard pressed to deal with people laughing at him and trying not to let it get him down, so yeah, lots of fun things to do with that biggrin

Spirit: Superstitious sailor that fell overboard when trying to put a silver coin in the masthead for good luck.

Aye aye hands- Vessel. Makes for one crazy salute!
Big Aye-Aye ears- Vessel. All the better for hearing orders!
Really big eyes- Vessel. All my traits are from the vessel but I just find Aye Ayes funny. lD; Big eyes for spotting peril and lighthouses and omens and such!
How is this outrageous or different from normal Hiccups? Do you plan on carrying this through to roleplay situations?:
First of all, a sailor and an aye-aye, it is totally a bad pun! 8D Secondly, Aye-ayes are rumoured to be ill omens, and the fact a superstitious sailor's spirit would be fused with one is ironic. I plan on carrying this through to roleplay by using as many nautical puns as I can and having Kentucky be quite superstitious herself, counterbalancing the fact that she's a bad omen by collecting enough good luck charms to drown a baby. :< Marney will probably have to cover her eyes when they walk past a clover patch if theyre in a hurry, or if all else fails, lie to her and make up less time consuming superstitions. Also, I plan to give Kentucky an overbearing 'Aye Aye, Cap'n!' sort of attitude, the sort that cannot be squashed even with a kraken and makes her good-luck seeking antics just that much more ridiculous and overwrought.

Guardian's Occupation or major pastime: Max is a humanitarian. He would give you the very shirt off his back if he thought it would help. He spends a lot of time doing volunteer work and harbors a secret desire to change the world. His heroes are people such as Ghandi and Mother Theresa and while he's not religiously affiliated he is spiritual. Max works for meager wages at a local no-kill animal shelter. He has an expansive trust-fund and works purely for the pleasure of it.
Hiccup's Name: Hayden Bright-Flower Moonchild Peace
Gender: Male
Vessel: Lolcat
Spirit: Elliot Sharpay was a highly intelligent vegetarian environmental lawyer who had a really amazing track record. It was said he had a silver tongue because once he started talking his eloquence sort of bowled people over and invariably swayed them to his side. He died tragically in an accident at a meat-packing plant that he, along with a group of protesters, was trying to get shut down. Namely: He fell into the grinder.

How is this outrageous or different from normal Hiccups? Do you plan on carrying this through to roleplay situations?: Lolcats are bizarre and amusing all by themselves. The main way the absurdity of this character will be portrayed is in his inability to speak proper english. Instead, he will consistently speak in lolcat. A grand fall from one who once moved people with his words. He CAN has cheezburger, plz?

1. Sentient tail with snake head at the end. (vessel)
2 Shaggy long black hair ( spirit/vessel combo . dominant macedonian hair colour and the shaggy longness is similar to a lion mane)
3. Goat horns ( vessel)
Why this particular mythical vessel? What drew you to this idea?:
The idea of a sentient snake tail was too hard to pass up, plus I've always thought they were a bit overlooked as mythical creature becuase they aren't traditionally pretty.
* The Chimera was also said to have been killed by a spear so I thought the spirit worked well with it.
