I had a migraine yesterday and called into work saying that I couldn't make it in because my migraine went down to my eyes, making it hard for me to see and I couldn't use my glasses because it hurt too bad. Well, my idiot of a boss called me back and chewed me out over the phone for it.
He actually made me feel bad for calling in sick. (And I don't normally feel bad for some things that I do) I know Christmas is busy for him, but heck, doesn't he want his workers to be healthy? He is a total bloody butt whole who should be shot for being insensitive. On top of that, I hardly call in sick anyway!!!!!!
{Edited: bad language. Sorry}

If you come in work and something happened (whether an accident, you collapsed or anything) it would be his responsibility. biggrin I know it's painful and stuff, but after all that, if you go to work and your boss sees what kind of condition you're in... I'm sure he's gonna regret it. He's not gonna want something major going wrong 'coz of a sick employee who deserves her rest.

I guess if it's that bad, you can start looking for a new job. He sounds really terrible after all.

He sounds like a control freak. I'd be searching for a new job if I were you.
