Basically did a 180 into a snowbank.
All because Ryan grabbed the wheel and yanked it on black ice.
We slid, I tried to counter-turn, did it once, but it was too late and we spun backwards into a snowbank.
No one was hurt.
And we were laughing.
Hysterically.
Just because if I went any faster we would have slid into a pond (my back driver's side tire was maybe 4 inches from slipping off the cliff into the pond.
And if we hit the other side we would have hit a telephone pole.
Ryan grabbed the wheel and yanked it because it was that Jason Mraz song "I'm Yours" on the radio and it was catchy, so he decided to swerve the car to the beat of the music.
Now I'm too scared to drive & whenever I hear that song I need to stop the car and pull to the side of the road.
We were COMPLETELY stuck, so Ryan and I called Lindsay & Eric
(We were on our way to Eric's house, coincidentally on his road maybe a quarter mile from his house)
We told them to bring two-by-fours (they didn't know what they were PSSH AP students at their best lawl)
And basically we shoveled out my car & rocked my car out of the embankment.
Sometimes Eric's mom is a driver's Ed teacher & laughs at us when we come in the house
&& Sometimes I wear extremely appropriate shoes. Ballet flats with no socks. With my car buried in a foot and a half of snow.
WOOOOOO!
So I stay at Eric's house until midnight & come home, inspect my car, my dad sees me do that, and asks me what happened.
gonk
At midnight.
But the shock of the accident didn't hit me until this morning when I woke up crying.
