http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk85/TheAlphaHelix/Uncerts/BloodRain.jpgBloodRain's dark fur was shiny and wet. Drops of water clung to the edges of each hair and water slid down the slope of his muzzled. He would shake now and then but his feathers would have to bake in the sun that was no there for a day. The clouds swam threw the sky on this dimly lit day and BloodRain's eyes searched ever step he took for something. Anything.
And his scarf which had the faint stanes of blood on it clung to him and was a mid grey thanks to it being see threw when wet. His ears stood straight up listening to the eastern land as far as he could but all he heard was the light flapping of his wings and the light padding of his feet on the dirt.

Hunter was relativly bored today. She was laying on the edge of a riverbank, eyes cast up to the sky with its bitter clouds. A light rain began to fall, turning to a heavy downpour in moments. She snorted and stood, shaking herself off uselessly. Her batlike wings made horrid umbrellas. When too much water collected in their folds, it would drop down onto her and make her wet again.
Her red eyes darted as she padded out of the clearing, looking for shelter. She couldn't fly in these conditions. Her soft paws had to work to keep traction in the mud as she sauntered along. She suddenly slipped, unable to regain composure, and fell down a muddy hill. She landed at the bottom, unharmed, but dirty.
As she got up, she noticed she was at the edge of the eastern territory. She sniffed the air and, through the rain, smelt old blood and helix fur. She growled and, padding forwards, went to find the stranger.
