Breedings
Prices
Breedings will cost 6k per offspring. This is so, no matter whether we roll a 2 or 6, you only pay for what you get. If you wish for line edits to be passed on, it will cost an extra 4k per offspring for simple edits. Anything more complex will need to be discussed with the colourist beforehand. If you only receive two kits as a result of a breeding, you may request up to two more at 8k each, +6k if they are to carry on simple line edits. This cost is to be discussed between the owners and paid in full before work will begin.
Rules
• Both parties must agree that they wish to breed.
• The pregnancy could last anywhere from three days to a few weeks, depending on the colourist's schedule. Please try not to nag, but if it's been over a month a friendly nudge could help.
• Only Ridaeh in the adult stage can breed; malexfemale, malexmale and femalexfemale pairings will all produce offspring.
• Females can only breed once their current litter are in the adolescent stage, whereas the father could sire two litters at the same time. In a same sex pairing neither parent can produce another litter until the current litter is in the adolescent stage.
• Each owner may keep only two kits from a litter; if there are more than four you may give them away to a friend, run free contests or give them back to the shop to be sold, of which profit you will get 75%; this is the only way you are ever allowed to make a profit from a kit.
• Same-tribe, malexfemale Ridaeh litters range from 2 - 6 kits, +1 if the parents have been RP'd together as a couple.
• To qualify for the +1 RP kit, the RP shown cannot have been used for a previous breeding. (not applicable for RP-only breeding slots)
• Do not whine if the kits do not look as you expected.
Process
The process depends on what sort of breeding slots are open. For a breeding raffle, an RP between the couple of at least 10 posts must be shown for a ticket; every six posts after this count for another ticket. If a single colourist is opening a slot, the form below must be filled in and posted in their thread. For both types of breeding slots, if both pets are from different owners the owner not posting the breeding application must also post the form saying they agree to the breeding.
As soon as your breeding has been accepted start a trade with the mule (if for a breeding raffle) or the colourist (if for a direct breeding).
Litter size will be determined by the Gaia random number generator (2 - 6). Gender will then be chosen with the RNG (1 - 2). 1s will result in boys, 2 will be girls.
