After watching The Dark Knight (and reading The Killing Joke you nerds scream ) I have debated with myself whether Batman's nemesis The Joker represents Discordianism or not. But since I could not come up with an answer, I'll leave it to you. Here my "Fors" and "Againstits".
Fors He replaces society's order for Chaos He is unpredictable He adds humor against Batman's Grayfacedness He plays pranks, which is a definite Discordian past time
Againstits He says he is against plans, but invents elaborate plans (hypocrite?) He's unpredictable, but that means he can become serious and Grayfaced too (if he was always goofy you could predict that) He kills people, and that sounds like Grayfaced thinking to me He tries to force people into his way of thinking, which could be construed as the ultimate sin against Discordianism
What do you think? And ask yourself the question, "Why so serious?"

Grayfacedness is not necessarily a barrier to sainthood. Recall ye one of the five highest Discordian saints, the Elder Malaclypse, who brought unto us the Pentabarf.

I'm not too comfortable with our saints being...ya know, killers.
But then St. Alvis shot that guy in the freaking face, so...

I think he could be. He's chaotic enough and he's always smiling. I don't mind killing as long it's fun. And he's killing people that never existed, so it's even better!

In rebuttal, no discordian has any right in telling a discordian how to be discordian. I am not discordian, and therefore am discordian.
Hm...
Something has come to mind. Dis- is a prefix referring to not. A- is a prefix referring to away from, which is comparable to not. Therefore, is a discordian not the same as an acordian?

An accordian would base his or her own perception of the universe in accord with what everyone else thinks it should be. The 'not' would become a 'knot' and the accordian's worldview would thus be bound.
How incredibly boring.

I see your problem, Myels. You are using the preffix ac- instead of a- Ac- means for. A-means away
Such as Amoral is away from moral.
In the same logic, could an aaccordian be away from the knotting of boredom?
