She finished tightening the lugs and released the jack. "Yeah, done. We're probably too conspicuous in this car. We should call Sven, tell him what's up, too." She slid into the driver's seat and waited for Alex to get in. "How did he get us at the Rim? That irks me. Should we ditch the car? Where could it go that he won't find it? How did he find us at all!" Frustrated, she threw the car in reverse to get out of the parking lot and out of the city.

Bloodhound fipped his hands clean and left by means of roof top, it was to bussy at the street side for him to just leave since the cops where everywhere now. THat damin bar keep, would not say a thing even after he killed half his employies andsome random passerbys. He respected people like that true fighters tothere core, it was something he understood. |But now he was almost at ground zero again, all hek knew is that this area was there area of operation.. they did not have the product with tem at the bar. A good thing he had to add since she would not have attacked if she had been with then the danger was to great. But now he had to narrow down a few things, like did they pass the product onto another transport or keep her in the city? She was hurt so moving her to far was out of the question... No the product was still in the area. And the taxi cab driver did not say if they enterea building close by to hwere they were dropped off but only a fool would have done that. His mind was runing at a mile a minute there was only so much he could do to track them down.. guess it is bac kot plan A, Search and question people.

Climbing back into the incredibly ostentatious car, Alex rubbed an eye with his palm tiredly. "Relax, ok? Having a fit isn't going to help right now. I'll call Sven while you drive, he'll be able to give us some direction right now. And a good verbal a**-kicking for getting into this much trouble twice in one day. Now keep on this road about seven more miles, and take a right at Seville Road." Shuffling a cellphone out of his pocket, Alex punched in the number for the Main House, and let it ring, hoping someone would pick up quickly.

Having a fight might not help, but it was sure better than bottling up her tension. She couldn't very well have a fit while he was talking on the phone, though, lest she interrupt and important conversation with Sven, so she took his advice and sucked in a few deep breaths, focusing on not crashing their car. She was going to eat up seven miles in a hurry at this speed.
"Hey, yeah, I'm good," she lied, still wondering how the hit man found them at the bar.

Mumbling a few well-placed curses, Alex snapped the phone shut and leaned his head back against the headrest, closing his eyes. "Damn, no answer. I don't know what they all are up to, but the line just kept ringing. I'll just....try again later." It was frustrating, knowing that now they'd get in all kind of trouble from Sven, since he would have no idea where they went. "You'd think the Resistance would have set up a message system for the phones." Alex said chuckling, his few laughs lacking any humor.

She smiled halfheartedly. "At least we know what to get Sven for Christmas. I'll pitch in if you do." This was great. She never new what to give Sven for Christmas.
She hung a right at Seville Road, easing up on the throttle a little and wishing she had a less conspicuous car to drive. That was a first for Keeli. She never wished she had a less conspicuous car.

((Wow, color fail on the last post.....O.o))
"Sure, why not. Better than any book he'll thank us for and put it on his shelf never to be touched again." This was hardly an understatement. Alex had tried the book-gift tactic a few times, always ending in failure.
Turning at Seville opened them onto a rather rugged, narrow road that curved quite a bit. "Now let's see, about two miles and there will be an old shack just off the left side. Pull over there so we can open the entrance." Alex said, concentrating on his directions so as not to get lost. Being lost out here was no fun at all, with all the roads leading to nowhere and looking almost exactly the same.

((Yeah, I was wondering about that. XD))
"I know, that never works!" she exclaimed about the book gift idea. "That man needs to read more, or less people need to buy him books as presents. He's probably backed up in books to the eighties."
The old shack didn't come into view for nearly the whole two miles. She liked this terrain. It was rugged enough to offer plenty of cover. When she finally reached the shack in question she pulled the car off to the side, but kept the engine running. She expected the gunman to pop out with a machine gun at any moment. She could outrun him, but she go the prickling sensation she couldn't hide from him.

Alex laughed a little at her remark, thinking he probably knew of at least one book from that far back.
Once she'd pulled over he climbed quickly out of the car. "Just wait one minute, then we'll have to drive in cause the driveway is pretty long." With that Alex jogged over to the trees just past the shack, and after a second or two of searching, grabbed what appeared to be the literal side of thin air and pulled. To a viewer it would seem that a section of the forest was moving sideways, but upon further inspection, one would notice that it was more of a screen that only looked like the woods. Finally it was pulled sufficiently out of the way, revealing a winding drive. Alex motioned Keeli to drive through so he could close it behind them.
((Post next in Safe House, I think, so we don't clutter this thread with things that don't really relate to it at all.))
