Cool. There's 2 marching bands in my county that might march in it. One of them, I might've joined them had I chosen to go to that school.

Congrats!
The Middle School I went to has been chosen to play in the inaugural parade as well. The only band from California and the ONLY Middle School in the country to be accepted. But unfortunately, last year was my last year there, but I'm a freshman now so I can't go. :<

I know that Punahou School from Hawaii is marching in it. Lucky bastards get to march in that right when HASMB gets back from Pasadena... ._. They get to do everything.

My Band tried out and we made the top ten picks in the state, but we ended up not getting picked for the Parade...It's a good thing though, we would have had to raise $1500 a student. We're still going to D.C as our Band Trip, though....

Ahh, my band marched this parade four years ago for Bush, and I'm terribly depressed that my directors didn't apply for us to go this year!

Evergreen in my district got to go. I had a classmate who used to go to Evergreen and she really wanted to go. If our school had opened just one year later, she probably would've joined them.

Man, that would have been amazing to get to go to. D: I would have loved to have gotten to play in something like that. I've been out of my high school marching band for a year, and I miss it terribly! I don't get to join one in college again till I transfer from my current school to a four year university.
