The little cub looked around, its vision clearing and her eyes falling on first one face and then another that came down to her level. As she was touched, she looked to the arm, then up to the man that had crouched down in front of her. Sitting back for a moment, she continued to watch him, then bounced forward suddenly as he looked away, tumbling on her unsteady legs at his feet and rolling onto her back.
Covet breathed in deeply as she watched the little creature and a smile slipped across her lips as she watched Mekah and listened to him. As the little one fell, she laughed and dropped down onto her knees beside them.
"I can't.... this is amazing," she breathed, glancing up towards the latticed box and then down to the cub between them, struggling to right herself.

"It certainly is unusual." He agreed, reaching out to pet the little bear once more. She was so warm and soft. Both had come from objects, that was more than a little coincidental. Though ... he thought about the other strange happenings in the caravan. The children, the birds. "We should ask someone about it." He looked up into Covet's eyes for a moment. "Try to find out some more."

Covet smiled, curious, but not enough to be too bothered by what had just happened. "That sounds smart," she smiled, reaching out to lift the little bear cub up and just about melting as she felt how soft and warm it was. "Oh gods... it's just too cute!" she exclaimed, hugging her tightly and not thinking that it was a bit strange that it wasn't struggling in her arms as a wild animal might have done. Instead, the little panda seemed to snuggle in and look around it's new surroundings slowly.

Mekah watched them for a moment until a barking alerted him to the fact that Scim was still stuck outside. "Scim." He muttered, standing and peering into the box to look at his cricket. The creature appeared to be asleep, hugging the shadows of it's little home. "Do you think it's okay to let him in?"

Covet looked up at the metion of Scim and smirked a little. "I can't imagine why it wouldn't be. He's going to have to acquainted sooner or later. Just make sure that one up there is safe from him. Just in case. I'll hold this little one out of his reach so they can get acquainted properly," she smiled, rising carefully to her feet as well with a soft jingling of jewelry.

Mekah nodded and went to untie Scim, wo was bouncing and pulling on his leash. The puppy practically jumped into Mekah's lap as he was released. "You need to calm down." He stroked his soft head and smirked as he was assulted by doggy tongue. "We have some friends for you."
He carried Scim up into the wagon and crouched on the floor once more amid Covet's mess. "Okay, now be nice." He set Scim on the floor before Covet and held the leash as he moved forwards to sniff at the panda.

Covet had moved to a more comfortable position in the wagon and sat back on the floor with the cub still cradled in her arms. She really was too precious, she thought, running her fingers through her thick fur and looking up as Mekah and Scim entered.
The panda was enjoying herself, resting comfortably in the woman's arms when she caught the scent of a new beast. Turning her head lazily, she watched it closely as it was set before her. As it stepped forward, she pressed herself more into the woman's arms until she sensed that he meant her no harm. Giving a bit of a mewling growl, she lifted a thick black paw and gave Scim what she intended to be a playful shove that sent him falling back to the wagon floor.

Scim had not been expecting that. He rolled and lay for a moment, his ears back as he watched her. Strange, he thought as he sniffed te air. There was something not quite right there.
He wiggled a little and gave a bark, moving forward as if daring her to do it again. This time he was ready.
Mekah smirked as he watched them. "Well this is going to be interesting." He said, continuing to watch the pair.

The panda jumped as she was barked at, then her lips pulled back in what could almost be considered a grin, showing a hint of sharp teeth. Leaning up a little, she reached out and gave the beast another shove.
Covet laughed as she watched the pair and looked up at Mekah as he spoke. "Yes. So it seems," she smirked at him, watching him for a moment and looking up at the box with the cricket inside. Today had certainly been a strange day, but something inside of her felt complete somehow.

Scim bounced away as she shoved him again and then back to pounce on her, placing his paws on Covet's knees and licking the furry creature several times before bounding back to Mekah and barking at her again.
"Wimp." Mekah smirked, unclipping the leash and shoving Scim back in the panda's direction.

Covet laughed again as she watched them and carefully placed the little panda on the floor so she could lumber over and keep playing with him. "You keep an eye on them. I'll get dinner started," she smiled, rising to her feet to gather her things.
