ProWrestling.net is reporting that WWE officials have soured on R-Truth, aka Ron Killings. The Truth entered WWE with a series of video packages and a lot of hype, and was met with warm fan response. After seeing the fan reaction, there was even talk within WWE that he could be the next ‘chosen one.’ However, WWE officials have quickly turned cold on his in-ring performances. His push has been stalled because they feel that his basic wrestling skills are limited.

Word going around is that management feels he should improve in the ring and even though he can hit the flashy spots, he needs to go back and work on the basics.

PWInsider.com is reporting that Travis Tomko, known in WWE as Tyson Tomko, is backstage at the site of tonight's Raw taping in Pittsburgh. We reported here several weeks ago that Tomko has indeed re-signed with WWE, however we cannot confirm at this time if he will be debuting with the company on tonight's Raw broadcast.

It's also being reported that both Kevin Thorn and Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka are currently backstage at Raw.

Basic wrestling skills?

Wow, Ron has been wrestling for as long as I can remember. I remember when he was with Road Dogg. How long does it take a guy to learn basic wrestling???

I know, when was the last time they cared about Wrestling Skills. If that was the case than where is Regal's World Title Push!?! UGH!

Baroom chick.

WWE is far unstable to randomly bet on another horse at this point. They'll stick with Cena until he's hated by EVERYONE and not just informed fans.

As for Ron, in the end he really isn't a technical guy end of story. He fit in at TNA because that's what they do there, high risk high impact stuff where as WWE is a venue where matches can literally go on for an hour. His style is not one that a perosn can constantly do for that period of time.

This is the excuse they give out, but they just can't decide who will get a push and who won't. They don't know themselves what they really want on the show, or what would be good for it.

Basic or not, R-Truth draws, and that's what they need the most right now to stay on the right track. I think this is the main reason why I'm not THAT frustrated to see Cena as champ, because he draws. Of course, having some skills helps as well, but that's something they're unable to understand, unfortunately.
