"Old man....you said it yourself, I am old." He stepped in front of the absol, his ears against his skull. "I have experience more things then you could even dream of, pup. " He snarled. "And you know what I am hearing? What I am seeing perfectly, I see an obsessed, bratty cub! Who runs away with his tail between his legs when someone tells him the truth. You are not only destroying yourself but you are become a big coward!" His eyes narrow. "And you will become like Isamu, just obsessed over something meaningless. He obsesses over victory now, and you over revenge. None of those things really manner in life! They just prevent you from truly living, you are throwing your time in this earth away for such pity and stupid thing!"

Chaos listened stonily, eyes on the ground. He had not stopped growling, though is was lower now. He looked up sharply when he heard the word 'coward'. "What if I DON'T CARE?" Chaos was yelling again. "You say that you've experienced things, but it's impossible that you've experienced the same things I have! You don't know me! It is NOT an obsession!"
Chaos had half a mind to run away to work off his anger, but he wouldn't let himself. If this persian thought that he was becoming a coward, he would have to prove him wrong. Chaos crouched and showed his long white fangs. "Let me be, or I will prove to you who's a coward!" he challenged.

Faraon snarled. "You say you are not like Isamu? Then why don't you prove it? Or are you really so stupid, so blind, that you can't see?!"
He hissed. "Challenging me? Even if you won, you will be losing! You will be just proving that you are an obsessed coward, that you are just as bad as Isamu!" He bared his fangs. "Open your eyes, Chaos. There is more to life then all this tauros crap you have been dealing with."

Chaos didn't move an inch. "I? Blind? Don't be a fool! Or has old age clouded your mind, as well as your sight?" Chaos spoke recklessly and without thought. "You don't even know Isamu, how can you compare filth like him to me?" Chaos's claws bit into the earth past the snow.
"More to life, you say?" Chaos said, his voice still quite loud. "There is nothing else for me! Or have you forgotten who ruined everything for me? You may have options, but I don't!" The absol slowly shifted into a defensive position. His voice quieted. "I don't have any choice."

The male let out a roar. "You are the one not listening!" His tail swished behind him in annoyance. "You lost your territory, that's all! Then find a new one! That's what one does. You have a choice! You can stop being a whimpering cub and stop living in your past, move on! Find a mate and a new territory or wander the land! But stop thinking like everything revolves around your revenge to some nut cracker of an absol!"

Chaos opened his mouth angrily to reply, but no come back came. The cat was right, he realized. Even after he defeated Isamu, he would not return to Inhinx. There was most likely nothing left after all the humans came. Still... He could not just give up on his revenge that easily. But perhaps he could make less of a deal about it and relax a little more...
Chaos gradually came out of his crouch and took a half step towards Faraon. He still couldn't think of anything to say, but he gazed steadily into the persian's milky stare. Finally, Chaos had to say something. "I suppose... you're right..." he said grudgingly.

The bristle fur began to come down as Faraon relaxed his form. As the seconds passed, he was tempted to say something, but remind quiet, even thought he was blind, he could see the wheels turning in the absol's mind.
At the words finally spoke, a smile broke on the short feline muzzle. "Good, now I can apologize for comparing to Isamu. You show that you can think further then your obsession."

Chaos was silent. He stared at the sparkling white snow with a blank expression, thinking about nothing. "... Why am I here?" he asked suddenly. He stared down at his paws, flexing the strong black claws in and out. He glanced back at the persian, head tilted to one side.
"... I should be at home," he finished at last. "It was careless of me to get lost, but I think I can find my way now." Chaos nodded. "Thank you for walking with me; I learned more than I thought I would. And... Sorry about beating up your trainer..." Chaos suppressed a grin. "The food was good."

The persian laughed. "Don't worry about Adriel, he gets worse from me." He nodded his head. "Thank you as well for making this an interesting day. Perhaps we'll meet again."

Chaos nodded to the old persian, remembered that he probably couldn't see it, and said, "I hope so." Chaos then turned and trotted away in a random direction. He was going to walk around until he saw something he recognized.
The absol sighed. "An obsession, huh...?" He gave a wry grin.

The old persian turned away and into his own path, perhaps to go find someone else to annoy or just to go back to the house where the healer was.
