Houkou slowly calmed tell he laid next to Astrophel still trembling and lightly whimpering, his mind spinning as it is trying to once agent barrier horrid memories of death and fire. he looks at Astrophel and then gently paws his way over to him cuddling up, still shaking like a leaf.

Astrophel looked about him cautiously, for he was still young and had not yet thrown off all stories of the living dead. He halted when the cieling grew too low for him to move and backed up a bit, glad that Houkou was starting to calm down and had come closer. He cuddled up to the young pup, trying to stir some confidence in him. "We should be able to last through the snow in here. Only dirt and rocks, after all." he yawned and stretched, trying to show that he was comfortable in the cave, although he peered closely at Houkou, in case he didn't want to stay.

Houkou looks at him and cuddles up "right....rocks." he says not looking at the bones. his flames die down as he starts to fall asleep and drift into a very light sparkle. he cuddles up and sleeps agents Astrophel's tummy and goes to sleep, as the light dissipates because of the snow covering the exit.

"That's right." Astrophel replied confidently, proud of the pup. He laid down on his side and curled around Houkou to offer him more warmth, once more surprised that the curling blue flames around him didn't burn. Slowly, the snow covered the exit, sealing them in the warmth. He didn't worry too much. He could always break through the snow every so often to make sure of the weather, and they could leave when the storm was over.
Curling his tail over his nose, he closed his eyes and fell into the world of dreams, as well.
