New Captain
As of recently, I was given the opportunity to run the guild, and see if we can't get it back on track. We're not entirely sure what that means for how things are run around here, but we'll figure it out.
Contest Extended
That script-writing contest is going to be altered and extended, due to the fact we only got one entry. The one entry (myself) will not count towards the final drawings (after all, it'd hardly be fair if I judged my own piece), but will instead be an example. The contest will end on the last day of March, giving new members plenty of time to write one.
Animation?
There are people who will be on this guild who might be interested in voice acting, or animation. We hope to find some people who might be able to host some tutorials on animated or cartoon films. This way we can add another category to the movies Epic Fail hopes to produce.
Advertising
We need new members! Everyone should get out there and spread the word. I ask that every member find five random screenames on this site, any five screenames, and send out a guild invitation to them. This will help us to get out there! New and old members alike! This guild will be a lot more fun if we have more than three people to do things.

It's a new year!
We're going to try to get this thing back on track. Please, apply for teams, tell your friends, hand out flyers, whatever it takes! We need localised teams, so get your friends together. I'm in the process of forming my own New York based team.
I might be gone for a bit.
Unfortunately, things have come up, and it looks like I won't be able to get on very often for the next five weeks. I'll check back as regularily as I can, and try to have my half brother step in for me now and again.
Suggestions.
Give 'em to me! I'd love to hear what YOU want to see with this guild! Thank you!

Things are going a bit slower than I'd like...
I'd like to appologise. I had said some things had come up, and they did, and just kept coming. I intended to have this guild back on it's feet and running smooth and beautiful by now. However, having been employed in a managing position for not one but two theatres, on top of college selection and schoolwork, I've found it very difficult to get ANY time online.
Whats more than that, I sort of doubt anyone is really reading this. However, while I won't be able to get on the computer for the next few weeks, I am not going to be idle.
I'm working out a system that will get this guild back on it's feet. A series of contests, workshops, AND videos that will really get this going. Have no doubt, I will be back, and when I am, this guild will fly!
The First Task
The first task will be advertising. We're a film group! Make posters, take pictures, and make commercials for this guild! If a film guild can't film it's own commercials, we're really in trouble aren't we. Or take some picture adverts. Make it seem like you're advertising a film instead of a guild.
If there's anyone out there, we need your help! Spread the word! Get member count up so when I get back, we can really get things moving!

I'm Back
For the time being. My very sketchy access to the computer might last until/through the summer. Or it might be over in a couple weeks. We'll just have to ride through and see. For now, this week I hope to be making some changes and plans.
The First Change
Has GOT to be getting some members who actually come. 'Cause right now, the writing really isn't doing a whole lot of good. So we need people.
Summer's Coming
The summer brings up opportunities for film like you wouldn't believe. So we'll discuss that.
Ideas

I'm really back!
Wow. Just after I said "I'm Back!" Last time, my computer crashed, and refused to go any more. Well, I'm connected again, and it should stay that way (knock on wood).
Two New Videos!
We have a comedy short film, "Treasure Fail", and an Epic Fail Commercial! We need some new production teams to crop up, that way I can spread the word about videos from other production teams!
New Forums
The Theater Forum is now going to be where everyone will watch/post videos they've made. Strictly videos though, scripts and others will be in the old forums for them.
I'm also coming up with a new front page forum with information on where to get equipment and programs, and reviews on them.
A challenge!
If anyone wants to come up with some video tutorials about, well, video, it's a great way to contribute to Epic Fail Productions!
