[b]Bio/History: [/b] An orpahn by birth, Roy was put into an orphanage since birth. At age 6 a gang attacked the orphanage and he ran away while some of his friends died and after that he walked the streets and one day found a video game store, he went in and played a game. From that day forward he played video games anytime he could while trying to live in poverty. At the age of 8 he found a man's house. He went in there to try out a new video game console and was caught. The man had a good heart and let him stay with him. At the age of ten on Christmas, he found focus cream on the streets to help with playing games. But then he fainted and when he came to he found a bill board and when he looked at it with emotion, he caused it to come alive and demoslish some of the city. At the age of 10 he has controlled some of his powers and is still trying to unlock other powers.

[b]Bio/History:[/b] The daughter of two martial artists, Kei began her training almost as s soon as she could walk, showing promise in ninjutsu, kung fu, judo, and kempo. Having been instilled with a sense of justice from an early age, in school, she protected her classmates from bullies, and stood up for those who couldn't stand up for themselves. A few months before her 13th birthday, however, she witnessed a police raid on her house, the police having been given a false tip that the Hiyomura family were smugglers of some sort. Needless to say, she also witnessed her parents' rather brutal death at the hands of the same people she'd been taught to trust in. The trauma and confusion were the key to unlocking a power that had resided in her since birth, a secret kept from her by her parents. In Kei's eyes, there was only a flash of brilliant red, more screams, and then darkness.
She awoke hours later to find the whole lot incinerated, the bodies of the police and her parents charred beyond recognition. Still confused, Kei took to the streets, using her training to get out of fights. She was teken in by a gang of vigilantes and taught "the way of honor on the street". At first pretending to be just the lost, naive girl they took under their wing, she honed her newly-discovered abilities - from pilfered documents, she'd learned that as an infant, she'd been injected with some sort of serum, a fact her parents had kept from her - and on the eve of her 13th birthday, challenged the gang leader for supremacy. She won, and soon afterwards, rumors spread of this fiery avenging angel roaming the streets, stopping crimes before they could be fully carried out. For the would-be victims, she was their reliable, if unpredictable weapon; the perpetrators deemed her the bane of their 'trade'; and the police were torn between letting the gang's vigilante activities continue, or charge them with criminal offenses - unneccesary brutality among the list. Thus did the sweet and caring Kei fall from society's eyes to emerge as the Dark Phoenix, parital to none and defining justice according to her own rules.
[b]Powers]:[/b] Kei can create fire and bend the flames to her will, using them as a shield and as a weapon if she so desires. She can also fly for some time, aided by fiery wings she calls forth when she wishes to. She tends to be reckless in a fight, due to her regenerative ability; this last one is limited, as she isn't sure if she is capable of regrowing a whole hand, say, or a foot. Added to her destructive repertoire is her sheer prowess in hand-to-hand combat and deadly accuracy with bladed weapons, hand-held or thrown.
[b]Extra:[/b] Tough-talking and street smart, this fiery brunette has a soft spot for children and enjoys music.
