Well, I had my Swedish oral exam today, got a 4 out of it. 4laugh The teacher also told what I'd got from last weeks written exam, a 4 from that too! Wow, am I feeling alright now. And the highest score you can get in my school is a 5.

I'd heard bad things about the oral exam, that's why I was nervous about it. D: And many who I knew are good at Swedish had got bad grades...

I changed my avatar, because I'm a bit happier (not for long, I have to continue reading the stupid long communications book, find information about pacifism online for an argument thingy next week and prepare for tomorrow's huge presentation) and because it looked like someone else's avatar and they got mixed up a lot. biggrin

I took a final today and we graded it in class. I studied so hard for it, and it turned out to be only 25 questions.

25 freaking questions, and my friend next to me who didn't study at all got a better score than I. This is so discouraging. I memeorized that freaking note packet better than anyone in the class and get get knocked for not memorizing something he didn't even put in the note packet in the firsdt place.

stare

I just can't win, not matter what I do, I just can't win. There goes my scholarship down the freaking drain.

Oh yes, I know what this feels like. It used to happen a lot in 'high school'. I was the failure since I'd spent hours studying. confused

Luckily now our school is a bit tougher, so no longer those who haven't studied can excel over those who have. =) Just you wait, Hollow, you'll get your time to shine sooner or later.

most scholarships offer a grace period, because schools know you do worse in your 1st freshman semester (generally) than at any other point in your education, so they offer time to get your grades back up. do you know if yours has a grace period? because if it does, you haven't lost it yet, and will probably keep it - you're smart, you can get better grades next semester, i know

why are you taking so many hard classes freshman year? i would've thought you'd take as many gen ed reqirements as possible, to get them out of the way

This semester wasn't hard, I was just slacking off and not reading along with the class. I was doing well in art but one project we did screwed everything up. Psych, I got B's on all the tests, and all we have in that class in 5 tests, 3 expriments that only equal 15 points, and a 35 point discussion group.

I don't get it, I came out of the last test thinking, "Man, I did good on that." And then I find out that I get a freaking 84%.

that sucks.

my poli sci class has had one test (which i got a 50% on because, even though i studied, i didnt understand the essay question), a quiz (i got somewhere around an 80), a paper (not graded yet), and the final. i need to really get a good grade on the final to bring my overall grade up in that class
