Hmmm? Oh, you've noticed my necklace have you? I got it a little while ago. Scarabs were a symbol of the passage of time and change in ancient civilizations, cousin, did you know? It's surprisingly lighter than it looks and to be honest I think I feel something special about it. Maybe it'll bring me good luck. Anyways, come in! Let me make you something to eat.

Oh, so you want to know more about me cousin? Okay okay, well my three loves are cooking, potions and cards: tarot or otherwise. Everybody here is family to me, so I like to call you cousin if you don't mind. You don't mind, do you cousin? I didn't think so. Oh? My age, hmph. Well, you should know that these wrinkles don't come from being young, but if you want to try and beat me in a long jump or race, I don't think you'll be winning soon cousin. My cooking uses the best ingredients for keeping healthy and being tasty, here try some of my Northern Stew. It has crisp snow peas, fresh beef broth, tender rabbit meat, turnip, potatoes, carrots and clover salt, plus a little extra secret flavor. Good huh? I bet you didn't even notice the radish in there either? It's a secret I found to making a radish taste just like a potato because sometimes it's just the only way to get people to eat them. I'd give you the recipe cousin, but you'd probably die from the shock. You can come over any time for more if you want though. Oh? My hair? It's all natural cousin, true true. Imagine being born with purple hair, I know! Well some people say that I might have a bit of gorgon blood in me but I don't believe it, my eyes can't even stone a pie, and those beasts were taller than me anyways. Nasty things. Anyways, I don't know if you realized this but let me show you something about my carriage.

The amazing horseless carriage
Hmm, so you might be wondering where my horses are huh cousin? Well, I don't have any! I bought this from an old snake oil salesman. Said it was the only thing magnificent about his whole life, but after all the trouble it gave him over his career he couldn't stand to look at it anymore so I bought it from him. It didn't look like this at first, no cousin, it took a lot of cooking to make this place smell the way it does. It used to smell like slop and piss, I'll have you know. Now look at it, it's a bit of a palace if I may say so myself, cousin. I have it running on two things: a boiling water tank under the floorboards, and my kitchen. Food is power, as they say cousin, and it makes my carriage big and strong ha ha! As for steering, it doesn't move too fast so I just need to check the road like it's in the oven. Oh don't make that face, I haven't run off the road with this yet! It's really something, right cousin?
