I hate to say it, but I kind of quit playing because I couldn't seem to make any progress for weeks and weeks... Well, very, very, very, very sloooowww progress... And that was only after I sold some EIs and used the money to buy a ridiculous amount of rings from the marketplace to salvage... It was just way too frustrating. So I will unequip the rings I have and save them to sell for crazy amounts of gold later. Ah well.

Yes, it's gone. And I see some arguing threads about whether rings should stay soulbound now. I wonder if Qix is going to back down from that decision? Right now all my equipped rings do have little golden locks on them....

Its in a different sticky now. But yes. From now on all the rings you have equipped at this moment and all the rings you receive from now on will be soulbound to you. So keep some of those extra rings you got before because they will be worth a lovely penny some day.

I thought he specified rings that have ever been equipped will be soulbound--once you wear it, it bonds to you. That would leave you able to sell unequipped rings never removed from inventory. Although you can level up a ring in the inventory just as easily as when it's equipped, so maybe I'm wrong.....

I thought rings unequipped before the change would be spared?
Though, I don't really know. The 8 I had were all equipped while the change happened.

And Whatsit just got himself a Shark Attack ring, too--those go for about 20,000g right now on the MP....

I just recently got a couple of dropped rings. I went to the Null Chamber later on and found out they were soulbound to me right away. I haven't put them on yet. Oh well.

Whatsit's rings have been going straight to his hand when one drops because he still had less than 8 rings up til Friday, so they were equipped whether he liked it or not. Hardly seems right.
