What does DL and disjointed hitbox mean?

I'm not sure about DL... Did you mean DI?
But anyways, a disjointed hitbox is a hitbox outside of a character's hurtbox. It usually refers to weapons and such. So like, if Marth attacks you with his sword and it hits, you'll take damage. But if you attack Marth's sword, he won't take damage because the hitbox is disjointed. I don't know how to explain it any better than that. D=

And assuming you mean "DI," DI stands for directional influence. It's pretty self-explanatory, but it's literally when you hold the control stick in a direction while airborne to affect where you move, most importantly to avoid dying. Ideally you want to DI perpendicular to the direction you are hit in (if you are hit up, DI left or right, etc).
Then there's smash DI (SDI) which is hitting the control stick and/or the c-stick in the direction you want to move as you are hit. Most noticeable during multiple hit attacks, like Pikachu's downsmash. You get a little teleport with each smash. Pretty simple as well.
