Absolute Imperfection
Yeah, some of them are just too shreddy. But still, can you play it? Most of them aren't for being amazing musically. Like Rusty Cooly's, all it is is a four-finger shred up a C# Phryigian. The hard part is doing it at the speed and playing it the same way he does. Though, i'd still call it an excercise.
But yes, Chris Broderick's is amazing. His and Michael Romeo's are my favorites. I like Cooley, but whenever I see an instructional video by him, of any kind, Its usually just a modal run played at the speed of mach 1. I can't play it, not at that speed, but I don't have the practice time the man has.
