Here is a list of questions we get asked frequently. If you have any more sensible questions you'd like to be added to this list, PM the mule and we'll see it done asap!
► General
1. How do I get one?
Kannavahmen pets will be available through Auctions, Raffles, Contests and Custom Slots. You may also create your own. Please Check the main thread for details.
2. How do I create my own?

3. Why are there a few different Certificates?
The large cert is for staff artist made pets and the smaller cert is for C.Y.O pets
4. Where's my art?
It depends. If it's a custom and been 3 months and you haven't heard from your artist, please PM the shop mule. If it's not a custom, check the thread. You may have missed your PM or Glam may have forgotten to PM it to you.
5. There's a lot of information missing. Where is it all?
We're still getting things set up at the moment. Our owner is a lazy bum, so tends to take forever to get stuff done. If you want any information on anything from plot to characters to world to religion in Kannavahmen, PM the shop mule or post in the main thread. I'm more then happy to dish out info!
6. What do I call them? Pets? Kids?
Pets is fine I guess, but I use either inhabitants or residents. Sounds less like you're talking about a bunch of cats and hamsters.
7. How do I tell if my resident is predrawn or customisable?
Generally, if you got it through any other method then a custom request in a Staff Artist shop, or a CYO pet, it's probably predraw. SOME pets from flatsales and contests might have some room for customisation, but you would have to ask the artist in charge of your resident about this.
► Role Play
1. Can I start a RP thread?
Yep! Feel free to get going as soon as you've got your journal up! There's an RP forum set aside and your more then welcome to start threads in there.
2. Can I do private RP?
Yes! Just mark your thread appropriately (PRP for private. ORP for open, ect).
2. My Resident lives in place A., someone elses is in place B. on the other side of the world. Can we RP together?
Not really. It would make no sense for a person in Kingdom to suddenly be able to be in physical contact with someone in Empire. You do have the option of travel, but this must be documented in your journal and is subject to world limitations (a person from Kingdom can't just catch a boat across to Empire without getting shot/hanged/generally killed). Radio contact is allowed.
3. Can I RP my pet as a 12 year old in one Rp and 15 in another?
Yes. You do not have to have keep the age of your pet in a chronological order in Role Play. We simply as you to keep in my what age you've met other pets, so as to not create confusion. It would be preferable if journals were constant with chronological time line.
► Setting & Pets
1. I need info on the world!!!
Check the Lore and help section of the guild. If what you need isn't there, PM the shop mule or post in the main thread with your question. There is also a thread in the Lore section where you can ask questions so you can post there as well if you like. I'm more then happy to dish out info, but I'm also really quite happy for you to make things up as long as they're following the general concept of the shop.
► Character Creation
1. So...I can make my own character without going through the store artists?
Yep. Check the second page of the main thread for details on this
2. Can I cosplay?
Not at this time. I'm sorry! Also, we don't allow pets based around living people.
3. Can I base my character on an existing OC?
OC adapting is fine! They can be an OC that's been modified somewhat to fit the universe. Also, we have a few dimension rifts floating around Kannavahmen so there's a plausible explanation for strange people popping up. Just not REALLY REALLY odd things. And no furries peoples, cause that'd be really odd for this place.
4. Does my character have to declare an alignment straight away?
No, they don't. It's just like people tend not to develop political alignments or proper opinions until they're older and/ or adolescents.
5. Does my character have to HAVE a political alliance?
If they are Common, living in anyway among other Common, yes. If they are Garrion or Ceph living outside of Common soceity, they have the option of "Completely Neutral", which is someone who is COMPLETELY without an interested or investment in the war. This can be changed as your resident's opinions change.
6. I want to change from Empire to Kingdom. Can I do this?
Technically yes, it is possible. You just need to remember that the whole world is at war. Wearing red in Empire and Blue in Kingdom could possibly get you shot in the street. Swapping sides in the middle of your resident's life would mean leaving behind their whole like, possibly family and starting an new in a hostile country. Also, this event would have to be ok'd by an RP manager and documented IN DEPTH in the resident's journal.
7. Can I change from Kingdom/Empire to the Resistance or Completely Neutral?
To the Resistance, Yes, but it would have to documented in detail in your journal. Changing from ANY alliance to Completely neutral is not allowed.
► Journals, Diaries and Activity
1. What are guardians?
A guardian is a person who is your pet's in-world care taker. They are 'responsible' for your resident while they are in Kannavahmen - sort of like a parent, but not necessarily kind or caring.
2. What goes in journals?
Any and all information on your resident, journals detialing their lives, information of RP participation, growth requirments, art of your resident, your cert and whatever else you think relates to that particular resident. If you put something that is questionable, you'll be contacted by a staff member.
1. Is there an activity requirement?
Yes. You need to make at least 1 journal post every 6 months of you will receive a warning. 8 months without any activity will put you in risk of having your resident rehomed.
You are also asked to post at least once a fortnight in the main thread, even if it's just to tag or say 'hi'.
Staff are exempt from this as long as they are active in their roles within the shop.
► Certs, Official Graphics and User made graphics
1. Where is my cert?
It should have been PM'ed to you at some stage. If not, please check the front page under the 'owners' section. If you still can't find it, PM the shop mule.
2. Can I direct link?
Yes! We have a paid photobucket account for just that reason~!
3. What are those symbols on the side of the Certifcate?
You can find a guide to what each symbol means here. In short, they tell what that particular pet's race, alliance and morals are.
4. Ohnoes! There's a problem with my cert!
Quick! Quick! PM the shop mule! Don't try to edit it your self!
5. Can I take this shiny graphic here and use it without asking?
No. You may not use any of the contents of this thread without asking permission.
