would a tongue piercing affect me playing a tuba? i have snake bites and they dnt bother me when i play and they r really sharp

It could, possibly, but it is something that you should be able to adjust to over time. I know people who play brass instruments with tounge piercings but the aren't any in my tuba section... good luck anyway!

Yeah, like tubagirl said. It'd probably be hard to play with at first, but you'd get used to it, and adapt.
It's like getting braces. Sort of.

After getting your tounge pierced will make it swell for the first week or so. It will be kinda painful at first but over all it should have no affect on your ability to play. Unless it goes horribly wrong and your tounge gets paralyzed which does happen.

Unless it goes horribly wrong and your tounge gets paralyzed which does happen. ha thnx tht makes me want to get my tongue pierced even more lol
