Okay heres the thing im in guard and ii did it freshman year and wanted to keep doing but my schedule wouldnt let me so i have joined in my junior year. Well since i am co captian along with one other girl i hear about all the issues especially with the money. (Also the instructor was my guard sister my freshman year..she graduated last year) we had TWO hour a meeting today we found about a whole lot a s**t...our band director is and idot and couldnt be anymore whipped by the boosters... the boosters dont like guard and every year we get swept under the rug it like BAM band and them oh yah this is guard his teeney little thing...My guard is one of the most feared band in my division...we were shut down last year because of lack of fund now we dont have any funds this year..we have to earn all our money by the end of december... not only that our instructor didnt get paid because the boosters said she came back as a booster when our other instructors asked her to come back as one of them to help...also our band director is screwing us on the fundraising we have very limited fundraising!!...ugh!!... i so want to continue this but i have to go beat angel in the banner posting race!!!
