I definetly recommend borrowing it, it is a very good game.
Though, if you can get a list of the Al Bhed Primers... do it, or else you'll miss a bunch, and never understand what Cid is saying.... sweatdrop

I tried to learn it. I can understand most of it, but I wouldn't make a great translator....
Anyway, I loved it! I thought it was a great game. Then they came out with X-2.....I loved it also!!! It tied in perfectly, and made people happy who wanted what the first game didn't give.
(Keehee I'm so coy, not a single spoiler....unless you already knew xp )
