Truth is true--even if no one knows it.
Truth is true--even if no one admits it.
Truth is true--even if no one agrees with it.
Truth is true--even if no one follows it.
Truth is true--even if no one but God grasps it fully.
(Paul Copan)

You take the pen, and the lines dance. You take the flute, and the notes shimmer. You take the brush, and the colors sing. So all things have meaning and beauty in that space Beyond time where you are. How, then can I hold back anything from you>? (Dag Hammarskjold)

What did you think it meant?

I am quite the quote junkie. It's kind of sad. The door to my dorm room has random quotes all over it. =] I'll only post one or two for now. I may be persuaded to continue the list later.
I just found this one while looking for a more complete version of another Oscar Wilde quote, but like it nonetheless. -Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.
And of all the wonderful things Austen said, and wrote, this one just amuses me. -I do not want people to be agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them.
Most of the quotes I admire are out of Literature, though those are by people who wrote excellent pieces and not out of said pieces.

I have some of my fav quotes on my Profile, check that out if your interested. Anyway, heres one of em:
"God created things which had free will. That means creatures which can go either wrong or right. Some people think they can imagine a creature which was free but had no possibility of going wrong; I cannot. If a thing is free to be good it is also free to be bad. And free will is what has made evil possible. Why, then, did God give them free will? Because free will, though it makes evil possible, is also the only thing that makes possible any love or goodness or joy worth having." - CS. Lewis
*Edit*
I got no quotes anymore. ninja (on my profile)
