 There was something very eerie about a fresh snowfall. The pristine, shining white powder seemed to command utter silence in a booming voice that was unheard but nonetheless powerful. Birds were quiet, rodents were silent, and even the wind new better than to make the faintest whisper which might disturb the snow's absolute presence. It was as if time stood still, waiting for someone to finally dare to break the silence.
Crunch. Crunch. Crunch.
Leaping and landing two paws at a time in the snow, a kyuria dared to break the quiet and mar the smooth landscape. In his brilliant white winter coat, Dask almost disappeared in the snow, his nose and eyes the only break in the white surrounding him as he bounded through the snow, delighting in the crunching noise it made with each landing. He knew he came out of his den for a reason, but, frankly, he couldn't be bothered to remember why - he was enjoying himself far too much.

Yet another creature was out and about on this cold snowy day. This one however stuck out in the otherwise white covered ground. Having always had the need to have a companion other then her crow friend, Fayt was yet again on the lookout for something to spend this cold winters day with. Not that she didn't enjoy the cold, it brought out a surge of energy in her.
Padding through the snow the purple Kyun had decided to make her way towards the incense shop. There always seemed to be a Kyunru or two around there.
Fayt was about halfway to the incense shop when she heard it. The crunching of snow. Both of her ear sets immediately flicked up at the sound. So someone else was out and about on this lovely snowy day. Fayt surveyed the land around her trying to find the culprit.

The culprit currently had his head stuck in a snow bank, his hindquarters and hind legs flailing uselessly in the air as he tried to worm his way free. With one last twist of his lower body, Dask managed to roll forward onto his back where he blinked blankly up at the trees and attempted to get his bearings straight. Admittedly, even he was not sure how he had managed that, but he could only hope no one saw such an embarrassing display.
With a shake of his tail, Dask rolled over onto his paws and shook out his fur, preening and pretending as if nothing had happened.

Being so very observant, Fayt had already spotted the white creature. Normally it would have been rather hard to see, with it's fur almost the exact color of the snow. But with it flailing around so much it was rather hard to miss.
When Fayt finally reached the other creature it seemed to have gotten out of it's predicament. It was now on it's feet again, preening it's lovely, fluffy fur. The purple Kyunru suddenly had an urge to cuddle with the strange fluffy creature. She wasn't exactly sure if it was a Kyunru or something else but, it was adorable. Within seconds Fayt was face to face with it.

With one last swipe of his tongue over his fur, Dask lifted his head to resume his bounding through the snow only to jump backwards with a startled squawk when his nose bumped into another, and he found himself staring into a black and purple face. Dask tried to regain some sense of composure once he was on his feet fully again, shaking out his fur and pretending as if he had not overreacted.

The lavender crow Kyunru flicked both sets of her ears while she stared face-to-face with the other creature. "Aren't you a cute one." Fayt gave a devilish smile as she said this, beginning to pace around the other creature. "I didn't expect to find anyone else out on a day like today, especially not someone as cute as you." Fayt winked, brushing her tail up against the other's face.
Fayt had never seen such a fluffy creature and with her urge getting the best of her, nuzzled up against the other creature's fluff. She gave off a low purring noise before stating how cute and fluffy he was again.

Dask was...thrown off. He had met only a few kyunrus before, but they were, for the most part, somewhat shy and stand-offish, nothing like this. Quite frankly, he had no idea how to react not only to the black kyun's words but also to her actions.
Dumbly, he stammered before he could really think about what he was saying, "Um...th-thanks? I try my b-best to keep it that way..." Well, that could have come out better.
