Puck sat up softly in the snow patting the dog affectionately before his interest was reverted to the other Huskie. The two went off at a small distance to frolic leaving the two boys to play together. "Snow..." He called out laying flat on his back then began to spread his arms and legs out moving his arms up and down and his legs in and out. After a while he sat up and quickly moved away to produce an image of a angel with wings imprinted in the snow. "Angel!" Puck called out pointing to the image.
"You do..." He instructed laying back down in a fresh cushion of snow and then waited for Kiyoshi to do the same. Only when the other boy had assumed the position did he began to move his legs and arms once more to produce the imprinted image.

Kiyoshi watched, wide eyed as the other demonstrated what it was that made a snow angel. He looked down at the print that Puck had made before giving a little giggle. It did look like an angel didn't it? How pretty! He eagerly found an untouched patch of snow to lay in so that he could make one of them himself. He sat up slowly, moving carefully away from the print so as not to scuff it up with his hands and looked it over.
He gave a bright smile, clapping his hands, "Awesome! Awesome!" He squealed, excited over his first attempt at a snow angel being a success!

Thanatos smiled watching the boys from afar. "They seem to be getting along well." He commented but as he said this he stood to his feet whistling low to catch the attention of the dogs. "Here." He called and both mutts raced at top speeds to his side. Petting them affectionately he knelt with a smile.
"Terribly sorry but it's time for us to head out now." Xan told the dogs then turned to Baldric. He noted a rather dark cloud coming in, a sign of a possible storm which wouldn't do good for the boys. "I think you should probably get Kiyoshi back home as well." He commented softly but even as he gave that warning the storm was a bit closer then expected.
The snow feel softly at first, Puck raising a hand to try and catch it as it feel. He only vaguely heard his name coming from Xan but with the wind picking up and their being so far away he couldn't tell. "Ah!" He looked in the direction but couldn't quite see with the snow falling faster and the wind blowing it about it was hard to tell. "Ki..Kiyoshi... go.. go back." He called but upon turning around he saw nothing. The boy was as white as the snow and even at such a close range he couldn't tell if Kiyoshi were standing a few feet or a few yards away. "Kiyoshi!"
It was the sudden storm that annoyed Xan the most but he couldn't let the boys get lost. "Atreyu, Pantera split up find them." They were good dogs, capable in this kind of weather and hopefully by playing with them the two dogs could find each child. "Damn..."

Baldric gave a nod of agreement, "Yeah, best to get them inside before they get to cold." He said, taking a couple steps forward... then had to lift a hand to shield his eyes as a strong gust of wind blew in the snow blinding him momentarily. He wiped the snow away from his face when he coupld, looking around and found himself unable to spot his son. He'd vanished into the white that was falling around them.
The tall man gave a curse, taking a step forward, "Kiyoshi!" He called out, feeling his heart skip a beat. He turned to look over at Xan as he sent out the dogs to try to find the boys. Baldric could only hope their senses would be able to find what his own eyes couldn't.
Kiyoshi looked back and forth hearing his name but couldn't quite tell from which direction it was coming from. The blowing snow was making him a bit dizzy, pulling his breath away, and making it hard to see anything. His earlier fears of being lost in the white world of the snow creeping up again and he felt unable to move, to speak, could only stand there with his knees trembling.
All of it was to sudden for him, "P-Puck...?" He murmured when he was able to find his voice, squinting his eyes to try to find the boy's bright hair. Where was... Puck?

Xan was anxious but that wouldn't solve their current dilema. "We can't panic or nothing will come of it. Let's try to walk straight they weren't too far ahead. Those mutts are good for something if they find them, they'll lead them back." He was playing the part of a calm bystander but that was his child out there and he couldn't remain composed for long. With every passing minute he grew more concerned and less composed.
Atreyu was the faster of the two and managed to slip through the snow before it got worse. He found the multicolored mop of head that belong to Puck easily. Poking at the boy who had huddle himself in the snow, he pulled on his shirt to get him standing. "Atreyu?" Puck opened his eyes but they stung from the harsh wind and snow. "Kiyoshi... lost... go find." He ordered but that was not an order the dog could follow. Pantera was already doing just that, his orders were to find one child and that's what he did. Pulling again he tried getting the boy to follow. Barking loud enough for Xan to hear. He continued to bark.
Pantera was not as fast but her senses were keen. She sniffed about even in the snow to find the silver child. She could hear the faint bark of her companion and knew that Puck had been found. This set her at ease and gave her a better surrounding of the area. Kiyoshi was scared, she smell it. It was that fear that led her to him to which she quickly bumped him with her nose to reassure him. With a soft tug she moved a few steps from him and looked back. A soft bark was her answer to follow, she waited for him to move forward and hold her coat. Like Atreyu she barked loud enough for both the other dog and Xan to hear.
Sadly Xan couldn't hear the mutts as the wind picked up knocking him back. His concern for both children evident on his face as he tried pushing forward. Those mutts should have found them by now, bark damnit... "I can't hear them." He said finally. They were trained but it did no good when he couldn't hear them barking. "Do you see anything?"

Just when Kiyoshi felt as though he were going to start to cry he felt the dog bump against him. His entire form gave a shiver and he reached his tiny hands out to catch hold of her, "D-Doggy." He murmured, not sure which one it was at the moment finding it rather hard to see to really tell. He clung to the soft fur as she started to move.
The dogs barking caused him to give a little jump of surprise, wondering idly what it was that she was saying. Concentrating on the dog and what she was doing help him to think of anything other then the fact that the snow was trying to steal him away. So long as he held onto her he would be alright. To help him block out the blowing snow a little more he squeezed his eyes, blinding himself to the danger that the bad weather was presenting.
Baldric strained to see something, hear something, but the snow wasn't being of any help at all... the wind was making howling sounds of its own making hearing anything impossible and getting the stinging snow in his eyes was making seeing just as hard, "Can't see anything." He said, gritting his teeth in a frustrated manner. He drew in a deep breath, trying to steady himself before he started to trudge forward, step by step into the driving wind.

It was colder now, now time to argue with a child. Atreyu could feel this and quickly poked Puck with his nose. The child was shivering and losing sight of what needed to be done. "Cold." He breathed between chattering teeth clinging to the dog he moved his feet as best he could letting the dog lead him onward. Hopefully he would find his daddy and go home to warm up.
On the other side, Pantera was thankful for the boy understanding. She barked again picking up on Atreyu. Moving in his direction the snow cleared enough to produce another dog with child. With another bark and a poke from her nose at Kiyoshi she gave him a moment to look ahead of them. Both child and dog were safe but not quite out of the fire yet. The winter cold was harsh this year and would not help these boys any if they stayed out here unattended. Still she reunited with Atreyu before they both helped the boys forward, now their attention on finding the familiar scent of their master.
Xan was the same as Baldric, unable to see, let alone hear. He moved forward as well if only to keep close to the other man so as not to lose him. He hoped the dogs would find the kids and if all else led them some place warm and safe if they couldn't find him. "Damn... they're probably freezing out there." He muttered wanting desperately to find the kids and get them home safely.

Kiyoshi opened his eyes a little, looking out to see where they were going and he gave a happy sound when he saw the other dog had found Puck. Good, good his friend was alright he thought to himself. When he was close enough to the other boy he lifted his free hand up and reached out to Puck, wanting to hold onto him so they didn't get separated. He couldn't see his Daddy anywhere, only Puck and the doggies so he didn't want to get lost from the ones that he could see.
Baldric felt a bit of panic rising in his chest now, the dogs were out there looking but it was taking far to long in his opinion. He felt his heart thudding in his chest painfully, his throat felt dry, and it was hard to breath... he was losing his control... he didn't like this, just wanted to find his boy.
"Kiyoshi!" He called out again, voice louder this time, as loud as he could get it and could only hope it would be heard through the storm.

Both dogs were bound to hear something if they just kept moving forward. Mindful to stay in front of the wind to shield the boys. Though as they walked the vague cries from worried fathers did catch their ears and the dogs began to bark wildly happy to have done a good job.
Xan had lost his calm a long time ago but running all willy nilly into the snow would not find his son or Kiyoshi. He only knew to keep moving forward and hope the mutts had done their job. It wasn't until he heard the faint sound of barking that he looked up, snow swatting him in the face. "Did you hear it?" He asked Baldric over the roaring wind. "I think the mutts found the boys. They're trained to bark when they have found something." It was all the incentive he needed to push forward. "Lets keep going." He called and shouted out to the dogs with a high whistle.
Puck held Kiyoshi's hand tightly using his other to keep hold of Atreyu as the continued walking. He couldn't hear over the roar of the wind and snow but was hopeful that the dogs would help. "Close... hold hand tight." He called to the other boy indicating for him to not let go of his hand.

Baldric felt a bit of relief welling up in his chest, the dogs had found them... he could have shouted with joy but he would wait to do that until after he'd seen his son and Puck back to them safely. He continued to follow after Xan, able to ear the dogs now and he would swear he could see them shapes moving up ahead. Despite the cold and the snow he found the two of them making ground, getting closer and closer to where the dogs were.
Kiyoshi held tightly onto Puck and to the dog, not wanting to lose either of them, the four of them were working on escaping from the snow that was trying to steal them away... he would be so glad to get away from it, back to his Daddy, and even more importantly back inside where the snow wasn't allowed to go.
He lifted his head, squinting and could see two large shapes moving their way, "D-Daddy!" He called out, voice getting swept away in the wind so he had no idea if he could be heard or not.

Xan sighed in relief when he saw the multicolored top of his son's head and nearly lost himself as he rushed to embrace the half frozen child. He gave Kiyoshi a ruffling of his head making sure the child was alright as well stepping aside to let Baldric inspect the boy firmly. He smiled and looked over Puck for anything but found nothing. "You nut, ya' scared me back there."
Puck gave a pout knowing he had not meant for that to happen and only gave Xan a warm hung. "Scared... cold!" He cried out clinging to the man with vigor. "Cold!"
Xan chuckled wrapping the boy in his arms as he stood but not before giving the mutts a well deserved petting. "Good boy, good girl.. I'll give you treats when we get home." The dogs barked jumping around excitedly of the bunch. Pantera gave Kiyoshi a soft nudge with her nose, making sure he was okay before slipping to Xan's side. "Man this was a busy day despite the start. I think it's best we get these two warmed up and fed. Think we could meet again under better conditions next time?"

Upon seeing his son Baldric rushed forward, shrugging out of his coat and wrapped it around Kiyoshi. The boy was all but lost from sight due to the size of the coat compared to him and then he was being lifted up into the mans arms and hugged close, "Ahh, I'm so glad your alright." He murmured quietly, feeling his knees getting a little shaky from relief but did his best to keep it from showing. He turned to look over at Xan, Puck, and the two dogs, "Thank you." He murmured, not sure what he'd have done himself if he'd been on his own when the storm rolled in.
He was glad to hear that the dogs were going to be rewarded for the good deed, "Yes, that sounds good. Maybe indoors the next time." He suggested, not about to let Kiyoshi go wandering around on his own in the snow for a while.
Kiyoshi peeked out of his Daddy's coat over to where everyone else was, looking to where Puck was and gave him a smile that was half hidden by the coat. He was glad that his friend was alright to, but couldn't seem to find his voice at the moment. He was content just to lean against his Daddy now, to gain warmth from him and from the coat that was wrapped around him. He was sad to leave his new friend but was eager to get inside out of the cold.
Baldric gave the boy another hug before turning to look in the direction his car was in, "Come on, lets get in the car and get the heater going." He told Kiyoshi before looking back to Xan and his group once more, "It was nice meeting you all." He gave a smile before starting for his car, already feeling the chill in himself even after only a short time out of his coat.

"Indoors it is." Xan replied watching as the man held tight to his son. He was glad there was another out there that cared for his child despite their method of coming into this world. Xan didn't mind so much now that Puck was here, always full of life just like any other boy.
Watching father and son take off for their car, Xan gave Puck a kiss on his nose. "Let's head for home. Who's up for some hot coco?" A resounding 'yay' from the boy and two distinctive barks were his answers back; to which Xan could only chuckle as they slipped out of sight, heading for home.
