I'm totally lost in life, and I have no idea what to do or where to go. Things just aren't ok right now.
Due to the economy, I lost my job and I can't get a new one. I've applied to so many places, I stopped counting a long time ago. I'm failing half my classes. I can't pay attention in school, and if I can, the information just doesn't stay in my head. I've lost all interest in school in general, but I can't just quit, lest my family shun me for the rest of my life.
I have no job, car, money, my own apartment...I just feel so behind in life. I feel like I can succeed, but it just won't be society's version of it. Society says that you HAVE to go to college, you HAVE to get those master's degrees, you HAVE to do this, you HAVE to do that. I figure that as long as you can take care of yourself and your (future) family through legal means, then you have succeeded.
I don't know, I just wish I could go to sleep sometimes, and never wake back up. I wish there was a rewind/reset button, so I could go back and try just one more time. I know that no one here can offer me the magical solution to all of my problems that I blindly seek, but just knowing that I'm not the only one is good enough for me.

that's right, you're not the only one. i've failed to find a job too, and if your worried about your classes, then quit GOING ON GAIA DURING THEM!!!
also, you can try to succeed like that, but from what i've seen, you won't get very far...
paying attention and keeping good study habits are a good start to solving your problems. in other words NO GAIA DURING YOUR CLASSES!!!

I would suggest religion. This sounds just awful, but it helps. Knowing a higher power of some kind has a plan just for you is something to keep you moving. That's what keeps me the way I am, knowing that if God wanted me to do something, then I would know it and I would go for it, like my grades. Basicly, sit some where quiet for a little while and reorganise your life. Choose what's important right now, and what can wait. Having a job may not be your top priority while your possibly failing classes. But in there some where, should be religion. I'm sorry I probably sound like one of those 12 step programmes, but they do help, it takes a few tries, but those helped my OldDaddy.

I understand where you're coming from ... I live with my older brother ... my only real form of privacy is that I can lock my closet ... When life sucks as bad as it does right now I try to look at it as that it can get better ... but at least it's not any worse

man, i know what your saying. it's true, a lot of people are losing your jobs, but your not alone. everyone has trouble paying attention. i know that i can't pay attention. it's not that i even have stuff on my mind! i just space out and i feel stupid when i come back to because i have no idea what just happened! your not behind in life, your thing is that your in a standstill. a lot of people have this problem. they get to a point where they can't do anything to change a situation so since they're stuck in that situation, and because of that, they think that they're failing. you just gotta take a breath and chill. i know, it's hard to chill. i'm always spazzing out or freaking out over one thing or another. don't worry, though. it'll all change and soon enough, you'll get back to moving and change and you'll feel better. it just takes time so try to relax and it'll work out.
