I recently wrote a blog-type of entry in the forum that mentioned a certain type of relaxing tea that relaxes, eases hangovers and helps to relieve stomache/head/muscle tension. If you are doctor prescribed to a medication involving a severe, repetative case for one of these symptoms, this tea is NOT a replacement, simply an extra boost stare
FOR SINGULAR CUPS: 4 parts cinnamon 3 parts nutmeg 1 tsp crushed clove 2 pinches of orange extract (crushed orange flavored mint leaves if possible) 1 tsp sugar use a cheese grater to schafe(sp?) a bit of lemon peel 2 tsps of honey 3 parts chamomile differentiate portion of boiled water and milk to your liking wink
*** If you don't have chomomile, you can replace it with 2 crushed peppermint leaves and 1/2 part (or even smaller portion) of belladona. Belladona is NOT for flavoring, it is the key element in this tea (if you aren't using chamomile) to help you relax and a too much can lead to stomache illness/poisoning and can be fatal in severe cases; kind of like alchohol. After all, too much of a good thing isn't all that good. ***
FOR A THERMOS/PORTABLE MUG: 6 parts cinnamon 4 parts nutmeg 2 tsp crushed clove 3 pinches of orange extract (crushed orange flavored mint leaves if possible) 1 or 2 tsp of sugar (based on preference) use a cheese grater to schafe(sp?) a bit of lemon peel (also to your preference) 3 tsp of honey 4 parts chamomile 1 1/4 cups boiled water remainder of thermos/mug- milk (or let cool, based on preference)
ETA: I am completely serious about this, this is a strong fomula. If you do not feel the alleviating effects of it within 3 hours, consider asprin/advil and a nice nap, along with another cup/dose of this tea. If that does not work, I would highly suggest a visit to the doctor!!! Maturity and parental discretion advised for minors: any over-dosage of belladona could lead to the deterioration of the inside wall of the stomache, small intestine and liver, as well as digestive acid influxuation and possible blood stream interactment that can cause the iron cells in your blood that circulates through the lungs to inflate them excessivly &/or cut off air supply or the passing of oxygen to the heart. I don't have a medical degree like a doctor, but I have a wiccan-appointed degree in herbal and general health and how herbs effect the body as well as deep study of human anatomy, if your doctor claims that some of these effects do not happen (for you in specific, or in general) or that there are also other side effects, I would trust him/her with your life!
