With a flick of his wrist, the Chaos Knight's shield took the brunt of the attack, deflecting the arrow into the air like some rocket. It looked as though these mages had the luck of being able to attack from afar, that is a very good advantage.
His helmed head, cloaked by steel, looked for his advantage. As Diez casted his spell at the other, the Knight spun on his heel. With two hands, his ax smashed into the huge statue behind him. Tall enough to it Diez, and heavy enought to smash him.
It creaked and groaned for only a second. It seemed that the statue was not constructed with the thought of a huge man smashing an ax into it. It toppled towards Diez.
Destruction and mayhem followed the Knight. Things like statues falling were common place when he was around. As it toppled, the Knight decided that his new comer that fired the arrow needed a welcome.
Taking his ax in his large hand, he threw it. Spinning in the air like a top, it rushed at Shar's feet. Jumping meant an invisible javelin to the groin, very painful. A duck meant severed feet, painful but less humiliating. Side to side could have worked as long as the ax didn't skip.

((>.> *le sigh* I need to be more clear >.> It helps... ))
A flitting blue orb darted out from behind Shar, darting around like some dragonfly on crack. This orb was none other than the Archmagi, the Azure Phoenix, one half of the Soul Forged brothers. This orb was Torment Nusradai. Shar knew that a raised hand aimed at him was not good, and Torment made that point clear, the force missile blazing with a blue light to Shar's eyes, only, by Torment's minor influence. Shar severed the link two the two arrows, which subsequently exploded with pure destructive force, widening the staff into what seemed to be a tower shield. The tower shield was more than enough to absorb the lance of pure force and deflect the axe enough to not be a problem. The shield continued to grow, the center widening to give the whole a diamon shape when looked upon from above. Shar's wings only seemed to grow as he, unconsciously, began gaining altitude.

The falling statue and the explosive arrow managed to largely negate each other, with the crushing stone behemoth being largely blown apart by the severed arrow's destructive force. The remaining few pieces which fell towards Diez were quickly swatted out of the sky by Diez's tendrils, and a few quick force orbs. With that out of the way, Diez spotted Shar'Addan. His wings were growing, and he was rising into the air without even flapping. This was not a good sign. He immediately knew exactly what he would do. It would be a risk, as most things were, but he felt that this would be an appropriate situation to see what the Guardian was capable of. He began to charge, his orb charging along with him...
Current Magic Charge: 1 (Diez) + 1 (Orb) = 2

((Seems good to me. Maybe not pwn him directly, but at least give some good IC reason for his sudden absense.))

(Damn bastards, going to nuke my poor knight.)
The battle was still raging when a horn sounded around the contestants. It was deep as a warhorn but it sounded darker than that. There was something wrong about the tone, it chilled the bone. Bowing his head, the Chaos Knight turned on his heels and starting to march from the arena.
His cape whipped about him, his ax was forgotten, and his powerful legs took him over the sandy ground. His leaving the arena was obviously angering him. As he left through a large door that he still had to dip to go under, his powerful gauntlet covered hand lashing out and splintered the wooden frame.
(I will come back. I always do.)

A rather non-descript figure appears in the bleachers, covered from head to knees in a grey cloak with his geta and bandage clad feet crossed and resting on the railing in front of him. For a moment, the air around him shimmered, as if a thermal had been disturbed.

((>.< I just realized it was my post >.<))
((I'd like to keep this going, btw, and all are welcome.))
Allowing a caster to charge certainly wasn't something that allowed a fighter of any worth to prove his record true, for no one with common sense should allow it in their right mind. Shar's wings shimered for a moment before a shower of light fell on Diez followed by a tumultuous wave of pure destruction in the form of a passing blade.
Obelisk.
This was no normal blade, a towering beast of a blade, nearing five stories in full with a shape of that of a diamond when viewed from above, a true obelisk shaped and formed from soulstuff to a blade of pure destructive force. If the brunt force of the blade wasn't enough to kill, its wake of nothing more than death as the air itself seemed to rend in two at its passing would certainly turn a few heads. Possibly tear them straight off.

A 13 year old boy burst from the bleachers as if they were water. He did this without sound and landed behind the cloaked figure. The boy wore his own black cloak with red markings and, after brushing off some dirt, brought a hand to his chin as he compared his tylish cloak to the other plain, yet interesting one. He took a seat, still contemplating cloaks and his attention was brought to the massive sword. He arched and eyebrow and grinned slightly, hoping to gain something from just watching this bought, if he got lucky he may even be able to do something.

A small smile played on miss Tiffany's lip, waching from the stands. Suddenly, she was struch with an idea. Jumping down, she landed behind Dieze. Flipping, she kicked him in the back, and backflipped away.
