The other kids at my school are kinna immature. Today in english class we were lising to the teacher reading "Great Expectations" and in it was the word "dyke", as in a geograpical feature. neutral Natrualy half the class started giggleing and someone behind me said "lesbians" in a stupid voice an all. God they are so immature! scream
Also later on in maths a freiend of mine was crawling around on the floor getting a pencil I droped I think (I sit in the front row in boath classes, i'm such a geek.
xd ) and the teacher noticed and said "Do you want to get a reputation for crawling round under boy's desks?". And the whole class laughed, unfotunalty including myself... neutral . Thing is he was offenced. You see his mum is a lesbian (yes his biological mum) so I can understand why he was offenced. I just feel bad because I laughed. neutral sweatdrop cry

aww it's ok. As long as you feel sorry about doing it. I dont blame him for beging pissed off about it. If I were him I would have been pissed to. I probably would have just walked right out of the room.
I also would take that teacher to the cleaners, as they say. Discrimination has no tollerence with me.

Oh god, i know what you mean.
In my english class(English 3 Pre-IB American literature) we were reading a short story, and they used the word "f**", as in a cigarette, at least twelve times, and every time the teacher read it out loud, the class would start to snicker uncontrolably. About 4 write-ups, and 4 or 5 after-schools later, the class settled down. Honestly, its just like sex ed. scream
Being as my dad's bi, and I'm gay it gets pretty annoying, but I usually ignore the really immature comments.
