Rime sank slowly into her dreams, finding that when she reopened them, she was sitting on the shore of the dreamland she'd recently dreamed about, the one where she'd called Spire, and met her for the first time.
She looked around, and sure enough, there was the little purple dracling, sitting down on her haunches and waiting, trying to appear peaceful. But the little shivers in her frame and the quickened movements of her spots revealed her excitement.
There you are, Spire," Rime said, smiling welcomingly, and kneeling to spread her arms wide for a hug.
The little purple dracling didn't have to be asked twice, and rushed forward for the hug, making sure not to hurt her Dreamer with her crystal spikes.
"Where else would I be? I was waiting for you. I thought you'd never get here!" she cried.
"Are we going to Almahat? Can I meet the others? You said there were others," Spire continued, reminding Rime eagerly. Then, realizing she was almost bouncing, she sank back into a sitting position, going still again except for the movement of her spots.
"Yes, we are. And yes, there are others, Teroise and Dierdre, and possibly Phoebe and Euryale, if they are around. Maybe even other draclings and Dreamers," she said. She could tell this piqued Spire's interest, even as the dracling remained outwardly calm.
As they walked along the shore, which gradually morphed into the semi-familiar landscape of the region of Almahat she knew, she talked about Teroise and Dierdre, and what they were like.
But as they drew near to where the shop had been, and still stood, empty, she grew silent, and a troubled expression crossed her face.
Spire noticed this, and looked at the building in the distance, then looked back to her Dreamer.
"Is... what is that place?" Spire asked, innocently, able to tell that something was upsetting her dreamer, but not really knowing why. She hadn't been anywhere near the recent battle, after all, before bonding with Rime.
"Maybe I'll tell you... some other day, alright? It's too much to think about right now, still. Anyway... here we are. This is where we would meet before. If anyone is going to come, this is where they will meet us. Ter and Dierdre are on their way," Rime explained, and then turned to greet her two drakes, Teroise galloping across the land, with Dierdre following much more gracefully, smoothly, if more slowly.
They slowed to a stop, and each gave happy greetings in turn, though it hadn't been that long since they'd seen their dreamer last. It had only been a couple days since Dierdre had gone away to grow, after all, and worried Rime almost to death with her unexpected absence.
She introduced them all, though it seemed that Teroise already knew the dracling from a distance. He later confided that he'd been keeping an eye on the youngling, but didn't want to jump the gun on introductions. Dierdre was still far more at ease in the company of others, but seemed determined not to depend on others like she'd once done.
After a bit, they all settled down, with Kimi and Spire playing a romping game around Teroise, and Dierdre resting her head in Rime's lap. It was in this manner than they waited for anyone else to arrive.

Ice closed her eyes and slept, within her dreams she found a familiar landscape, a bright moon and a mystical looking lake. Ice stood on the shore and watched a metallic blue wyrm with large white wings glide above the waters playing with the fireflies. The metallic blue dracling glided effortlessly above the waters elegantly.
She smiled softly before calling the dracling "Angelina!" Ice called with a smile and extended arms trying to catch the winged-wyrms attention.
Intelligent cyan-ice blue eyes turned from her task, she smiled happily as her dreamer had come. Angelina had waited for Ice to return. The flew to her folding her two wings around the dreamer in a hug and feeling Ice's hands close around her thin lithe body.
Angelina smiled shaking her auburn hair out of her face "It's time to go now right?" she asked
Ice nodded "Yep lets go to Almahat, you can meet the others there Angelina." Opening her arms allowed the small dragon to glide beside her. Ice found out quickly that the wyrm was rather clumsy trying to slither on the ground.
Angelina smiled happily flapping her large white wings only occasionally to gain lift.
Together they walked from that mystical forest of night into the day and familiar places started appearing. A large mountain stood before them a blizzard blew wildly at the top. That mountain was Winter’s home and heaven forbid he allow it to melt. Ice grinned slightly.
“Winter!” she called “Winter my dear friend come greet young Angelina!”
Angelina looked at her quizzically “Your calling a season?” she asked “But season’s can’t answer.” she looked confused and then suddenly surprised as a form with two heads materialized out of the snow before her and her dreamer startled she flew behind Ice and landed peaking out from behind the girls legs.
“Yes,” she stroked the little draclings head comfortingly “Winter is the lesser god of the season of winter and in his elder form.” She explained “I thought it would be easier just to show you then explain I didn’t mean to startle you.”
The Winged-wyrm gave a nod them smiled “It’s nice to meet you Winter.” She said clumsily trying to get around Ice on the ground. She flapped her wings to get into the air; it was so much easier to move that way.
Winter gave a chuckle “A pleasure indeed Young dracling.”
In this strange part of Almahat beside Winter’s snowy mountain stood a volcano and in it’s heart was Djin the fire elemental. Ice explained about the rest of her companions the Anti social Chrono and the angry red Tyronica before calling for Djin.
"Don't touch Djin, Angelina." Ice added seeing the trail of flames that was the salamander. Angelina nodded and landed at Ice's feet she sat upright on her tail using her wings for balance. As long as she wasn't moving she was fine.
Djin came from the mountain quickly leaving a trail of hot flames behind him. The flaming drake regarded the little dracling curiously for a moment. "My Name is Djin The Elemental of fire." he told her proudly noticing that Angelina was going to try and touch his body he took a step back "Careful! Don't sear you wings on my flames." he said rather harshly.
"Not so harshly." Winter interjected receiving a glare from Djin.
Angelina pulled her wing back startled by his sudden burst "I'm Sorry" she said still surprised. Her own curiosity had gotten the better of her. He was made purely out of flames, the thought had suddenly crossed her mind if those flames were hot or not. She Greeted Djin.
Winter looked at Djin shaking his head. "Calm down."
He gave a nod for his greeting to Angelina. Djin snorted toward Winter and flames shot from his nostrils. "I need no lecture from you." Djin and Winter began arguing.
Ice gave an exasperated sigh.
"Are they always like this?" Angelina whispered curiously
"Yes," Ice responded with another sigh "They are Fire and Ice; they complement each other often but don't quite see they do."
The metallic blue dracling laughed and then Ice joined in both Djin and winter looked up from their argument.
"Let's go." she said still amused "I wonder if anyone else is around?” she wondered out loud.
The four of them continued even closer to where that battle had been. They passed a silent building. Not long ago that building was full of dreamers and their dragons, now it was closed; no one went in there anymore... It was...Empty now. They passed the shack Angelina looked toward her dreamer but knew not to ask about things like that. Ice looked up and noticed two familiar dragons in the distance... Teroise... and... a large Dierdre. She had grown! There was also an unfamiliar one, a small one about the same size as Angelina. Ice smiled her spirits rose a bit seeing the familiar faces.
"Rime, Teroise, Dierdre!" she yelled waving to them.

Rime's head turned in the direction of the voice, and her face lit up in a welcoming smile as she called, "Hello, Ice! Good to see all of you!"
Dierdre lifted her green-maned head as well, tilting it slightly to better hear those who were approaching. She could identify them by the sounds they made, the smells they brought. The cold chill must be Winter, the crackle was Djin. But there were wing beats in there that she didn't recognize. "I also hear Winter and Djin, but who else is there? Someone new?" she asked quietly as they approached.
Teroise nodded a welcome to Winter, but grinned a draconic smile at Djin. He had a great respect for Winter, but he got along better with the fire elemental.
"I'm glad to see both of you. I thought for a while that no one else would arrive, and I'd hate to see anyone disappointed," he said, partially meaning Rime, but his inclined head was towards the new dracling in the bunch, Spire.
Said dracling was staring at the new arrivals with wide eyes, where she had skidded to a halt from chasing Kimi. Her spikes practically quivered with excitement, and her spots were moving more quickly around her body.
"Wo~w, what sort of a dragon are you?" she asked Winter with the bluntness of youth. He looked more like a dreamer than a dragon to her. Her eyes moved to Djin, and she was just as amazed with him. He was really made of fire!
While they'd waited, Teroise had shown her a few tricks he'd been practicing with the fire, but this dragon was entirely covered in flames. She wondered what he could do, and she began to wriggle with glee.
The last dragon in the group was exciting, too, in a different way. She was Spire's own age! This was the best. She could join Spire and Kimi in their game of tag!
Removed from her stunned, frozen state, she suddenly bounded towards the winged wyrm, and stopped just as suddenly in front of her.
"Hi! My name is Spire, what's yours?" she asked.

Sunny sank into a confused sort of dreamscape, and when she opened her eyes, she found she was staring into a pale green face with beady black eyes.
"Arkille," she greeted.
The wyvern peered up, his trio of flashing orbs circling around her in interest, taking note of her smell, the thump of her heartbeat. "You are here at last," he observed in a high, fluting voice.
"I am," Sunny said, apologetically. "I'm a busy girl. But I'm here now. What're we going to do?"
Arkille settled back, wings folded, as he thought this over for a moment. "I would like to explore," he said at last.
"Nowhere in particular? Just what we can find?"
"Yes, I think so."
"Sounds wonderful to me," Sunny said. She gave Arkille a fond scratch under his chin.
The pair wandered along in a companionable silence, Sunny's hand resting gently on the top of Arkille's head as his three sense orbs darted here and there with great enthusiasm.
"There is a crowd up ahead of us," Arkille observed at length.
"So there is." Sunny smirked. "You're curious."
"I am! I have not met very many of either dreamers or dragons."
"Well then." She made a bow, laughing. "Let's go meet them, then."
As they neared, Sunny raised a hand to wave, wondering if they would see the two of them coming.

Indeed, someone had spotted the approaching pair. Teroise had kept a watchful eye out, and he spotted them walking towards them even before Sunny raised her hand to wave.
He nodded them a greeting, causing Rime to turn around where she was sitting, and Dierdre to raise her head.
"Ah, hello!" Rime greeted them, and smiled. Someone else who'd gotten one of the last goblets, it seemed, from the age of her dracling. Someone else to include in the introductions!
She went around the circle, pointing out herself and her dragons, giving each of them a name as she gestured to them. Even Kimi got a mention.

Angelina flew over to Dierdre and flapped around looking at the zombie dragon with gentel wing beats keeping her air borne. The gentle scent of a rose followed the dracling as she flew perfuming the air. "I'm Angelina, who are you?" she asked curiously shyly flying over Dierdre's back she let her tail touch the leathery skin, it felt strange, also this dragon had no eyes, she stared with wonder, how was she able to see?
“Ah you grew!” she said in surprise then nodded "Yes we do Dierdre, This is Angelina she's like Rabastan and Tenuis.” She tired to explain to the drake but was a touch slow since Angelina had already introduced herself to Dierdre. Ice returned Rime's greeting and smiled "And all of you." she noticed a small little purple drake "You seem to have a new arrival as well." Ice commented with an interested smile. "She's adorable, what’s your name?" she asked
Winter chuckled despite himself such youthful curiosity and that deserved an answer. "I am an elder dragon young one." he began "I am thousands of years older than most dragons for I am Winter a God of the seasons though only a lesser, once my powers at their peak rival that of a true god." His power had been growing steadily as his season came. He hoped all her questions where answered. Winter watched as her curiosity turned to Djin true he too was unique made completely of flames though at times the god could hardly stand the elemental.
Djin gave a flame filled grin of his own; it was hard to see given that he was made entirely of flames. Djin at the moment was larger then Teroise but as time passed he would shrink as some of the flames went out. He moved and stood beside Teroise radiating massive heat. “Damn it’s still cold” he muttered under his breath. Not noticing the little dracling staring at him.
Ice turned around to see the others and greeted them happily “Hello!” se smiled introducing all of her dragons.

Spire 'ooh'd' appreciatively as Winter explained, but she really only got the gist of what he'd said. He was old and powerful, and really really cool because he looked like a dreamer. It was enough for her, and she turned her attention to Djin.
Dierdre heard the wing beats, and oriented on the flying dracling by that sound, turning her face towards Angelina. Her face wasn't pointing in quite the right direction for her to be looking at Angelina, and indeed she wasn't, for as the dracling had noticed, Dierdre had no eyes.
"I'm Dierdre," she said, and her skin gave a little twitch as she felt Angelina's tail brush against her. She heard Ice's explanation, and understood why she heard wing beats, now. "It's nice to meet you, Angelina," she continued.
Spire was busy staring at Djin and Winter, and so Rime chuckled and replied for her.
"This is Spire, and yes, she's new to our family. She seems fascinated by those two," she said, and chuckled again.
Teroise nodded to Djin as he came to stand beside the orange drake.
"It will start to get warmer soon," Teroise encouraged, "but more importantly, at the moment, you seem to have an admirer," he finished, and gestured to Spire.
"My name is Spire! Are you really all fire? Or are you just covered in it? Ter can make fire, can you?" the purple dracling asked, spurred out of her still, awe-struck staring, and into motion and speech by the gesture.

Another day of school had passed for DG, and it wasnt the best day she had had, but she made it through yet again. She was eager to get back in the o' so familiar ocean like place where she now considered part of her home. When sleep came DG woke up on the bank of the water, and in the distance you could clearly see the towering coral palace she 2 dragons had taken up as their home. Dracolest playfully greeted DG on the shore, as he impatiently splashed around in the waves.
Hurry up! Your taking forever! Were going to almahat today remember! And its just me this time so hurry up! Said the little dracling with a rush in his tone.
Okok! Im still new to this remember! Theres no rush. Said DG walking along the shore as Dracolest swam beside her.
Soonthe dence fog had subsided and the lush landscape of almahat closed in around them. Dracolest swam in a small stream beside her as DG cought sight of the others.... So many dragons, and other people. There was even some larger dragons. The idea of a huge dragon next to her terrified DG, but se stayed calm anyway and slowly aproached.

Angelina wondered why Dierdre was looking the other way she hadn't noticed her lack of eyes. "It's nice to meet you too," she said flying in front of Dierdre's face. “Why don’t you have eyes? How can you not run into things?” she asked
He smiled watching spire run toward Djin, wouldn't Djin love that the god chuckled mildly. Winter moved and quietly stood a ways away watching quietly as more came. He would be here if needed.
Djin nodded he knew it would but still. Winter wouldn't make his season last any longer than it should in cease he threw off the seasonal balance. "So it would seem" He responded to Teroise watching the little dragon, "Be careful he warned sternly." if he was touched this little dragon would get a painful and searing burn.
“I’m Djin little dragon” He sighed then explained “Yes I’m entirely made of fire “Though I can’t necessarily make it, the more I use things that require fire the smaller I will get though if Teroise was to shoot fire at me I would be able to absorb it an become larger again.”
