Ingredients
2 bottles (750 ml. each) dry red wine (with or without alcohol, chilled)
2 cups fresh orange juice (chilled)
1/4 cup superfine sugar
4 large peaches (2 pounds, peeled and thinly sliced)
2 medium-size, unpeeled oranges (thinly sliced)
1 large unpeeled lemon (thinly sliced)
1 cup club soda (chilled)
2 tablespoons Spanish brandy (optional)

Introduction:
Originating in Spain, this wine and fruit drink grew in popularity after being served in the Spanish Pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair.

Makes about 2 quarts or 10 6-ounce servings.
Preparation time: 20 minutes.
Chilling time: 1 hour.

Step 1:
In a large pitcher, stir together the wine, juice, sugar, peaches, oranges, and lemon. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight. To serve, stir in the club soda, plus the brandy if you wish. Pour into tall glasses filled with ice.

Mm, that sounds amazing!

I made a non-alcoholic one two summers ago for a friend's BBQ, let's see if I can remember what I used...

INGREDIENTS:
2 1L cartons Sun-Rype Apple Orange Peach juice (keep an extra one or two on hand, though)
4 kiwis
3 nectarines or 2 peaches (3 if they're small)
1lb strawberries

Optional:
2L Sprite
1 pineapple

BEFORE SERVING:
- Chill the juice and, IF DESIRED, the Sprite
- Cut the fruit into small chunks, store in separate containers and chill until serving

WHEN SERVING:
- place the fruit in your punchbowl/jug/serving container
- pour in the juice
- IF DESIRED, add 1 part Sprite to 2 parts juice (if you use 2L of juice, use a litre of sprite)
- mix gently (don't want to bruise or otherwise damage the fruit)

Cute Ideas:
- use a beach bucket and small shovel as serving dishes
- buy plastic cocktail or martini glasses at the dollar store for your guests to drink out of
- use cocktail umbrellas
