I've been a member of this guild for quite some time and haven't given myself any time to keep up or contribute since I joined right before moving, but I've been really busy this past week trying a lot of new things. I have NO budget for the holidays, so everyone is going to have to make do with what I can come up with for them. What are some of your current projects or ideas?
For my older little sister, a hand muff.
For my younger little sister- a tooth fairy pillow
For my little brother- a roll out play mat for his trucks and tractors
For my older son- a rocket pillow and an astronaut
For my younger son- I am not sure.
I'm also going to try out my mom's knitting machine and see how well that works out for me. I found some really nice skeins of yarn at walmart on clearance last night for $1.50.
And I have to make all new stockings for us this year since we've outgrown the batch my mom made when I was little.

Ooh, that reminds me, I was thinking about making the kids some nice, long, fancy, weighted strings for balloons. My parents have a helium tank for balloons and the kids get one every couple weeks or so. I thought it was unusual enough that they'd get a kick out of it.
