Guild Renovation Progress

So, from today our lovely GM Sexygirl handed her Guild over to me and that means i'm in charge smile

I'll write down the progress of what i'm doing so you all can follow my every move smile Well sort of biggrin I won't write in "Time - 12:05am, i went to the bathroom and discovered i ate corn" xd I think you get the point wink

Well, i'm going to work hard on getting the Guild up and running so it's ready to be launched the 1st of January 2009 3nodding

Faze 1

First of all, cleaning out the Guild is my first priority. So far, i managed to "ban" all those who posted 0-2 posts only. Ban is such an ugly word, but i have to "kick" those who never really showed any interests in this Guild at all.

Anyways, there's a few exceptions:
1. I didn't ban those who were Vice Captains or Crew who only posted 0-2 posts.
2. I didn't ban those who donated a nice bunch of Gold either, even if they only posted 0-2 posts only.

Those who remain in the Guild will be notified about my plans. The deadline is 2 weeks. If i don't get a response during that time, you'll be "kicked".

But if i see fit and if the rules that i'll set for this Guild is respected and understood, i'll allow them back into the Guild.

That's it for now. I'll keep posting my progress here in this Thread smile

Faze 2

Okay, the second faze is a pretty simple task. All the Topics in this Guild will be put in a new Subforum called "Shadow Legion - Recycle". Instead of deleting every single Topic, i'll place them there for now. I'll post my update when i'm done 3nodding

Updates:
So far, every time i move a Topic, an error occurs;
Database Error
No log message was defined for crew logging.
I hope i'm not wasting my time by moving all the Topics to the appropriate Subforum and for it all to be stored back to "default" (the way it was before) stare

Okay, now the "moving" part is done smile Time to rename all the Sobforums into "Under Construction".

Faze 3

Faze 3 is now in progress and i think it's time to write down that list of mine. And when i'm done, i'll post it in here.

Updates:
So far, i've written a few tings down, but haven't gotten much done since real life has it's sharp jaws around my balls... hopefully, on Monday i should have it done by then ^^

lol 5 minutes left until it's 12am and Monday, i guess i managed it just in time ^^ Anyways, here's roughly my "list" of plans.

Faze 4

I've finished the "list" of plans in a more detailed layout for you guys. Now it's time for Faze 4 and i'll be removing all designs since the Guild is being renovated. and then i'll demote everyone back to Members (with a few exceptions). This means 2 things.

1. New Owner new rules and therefore everyone will have to start from "ground zero"
2. In order to gain a promotion, it'll take hard work, dedication, time and if i see fit, you might get a promotion.

This doesn't mean that you're not vital for the succession of this Guild. We're all "team players" and we (the Top Branch) need you guys just as much as you need us. I'll update when i'm done ^^

Last remaining thing for this faze to be complete, is to demote everyone except Sexygirl460

Faze 5

It's time for faze 5 and this will take a longer time. A few things needed to be done before this faze is complete. I need to send each and every Member a pm with few details and a Deadline in which they must respond, or else they're kicked out from the Guild. I'm only reducing inactive Members and those who're not interested in being here.

After that, i'll notify our allied Guild; The Hobbie Lobbie and give them an update on the current situation of this Guild. We're probably going to discuss about the alliance and if we should continue the relationship or not. To be honest, i haven't understood the idea of it + i don't recall ever having any contact with them (Guildwise), except me going over there and saying hi ^^

Hopefully, i'll have this done by the end for this week.

Well, i never had the time to make all that happen two weeks ago because of work and all sweatdrop Anyways, i have some time to spend today so i'll get us much done as possible.

Okay, i've just sent a pm to Coddymaggot45 who's the Guild Leader of The Hobbie Lobbie
I thought it would be best to do that first since sending the pm to all of you who's left in this Guild will take forever. Anyways, i'll begin to write the standard form for the pm to send to you guys ^^
Okay, so far me and Codymaggot45 are talking about what's what and stuff, so it seems their might be an Alliance for this "new" Guild that'll arrive on January 1st biggrin We still haven't totally agreed but i feel it's leaning towards having an Alliance (actually continuing) rather than not having one.

Another update for today ^^ I just finished sending pm's (an hour ago) to the remaining Members of this Guild and i'm very surprised of how many responds i got biggrin So far, everyone's still in so that's really an awesome thing 3nodding I'm looking forward to the 1st of January even more wink Thanks to all who're still interested in the Guild and wish to be apart of the "family" that i'll try and build with everyone's help of course ^^

Faze 6

So, as we're soon reaching the 1st of January and my Deadline of course, i'll be working extra hard with this Faze 6 since it'll take all of my energy and skill to pull it off... meaning that i pretty much never finish in time when i'm working with designs gonk Well, i'll do my best to make it happen sweatdrop Huh? No. I don't make things simple and why? Well, that's who i am but you'll see the final results when i'm done wink

Updates:
Alrighty then, here's an update on things are going ^^ So far, not so good... i guess i have to "wipe" a few things of my Design "list" confused And i hate that to be honest sweatdrop Hopefully i'll be making some progress today, but only time will tell.

Though i did get some things done. I updated in adding some more Subforums to the list (Faze 3) and created 2 new Topics; arrow "Before The Guild Opens" and
arrow "Ideas"

Okay, here are the latest updates... nothing sweatdrop I've been so busy with a lot of things and especially at a time like this since it's Christmas and soon New Years (in a few days). I have 2 days to finish most of the things and on the 31st, a few hours and that's it. To be honest, i'm afraid i wont make it all, but i'll do my best.

Alrighty then! Yesterday was a complete failure and wanted to destroy the entire world! wahmbulance Luckily, i'm all down to earth and back to normal and found away to get it right again ^^ The thing is, i spent a total of around uhm, 2 weeks (in hours... so that's a lot) to create the designs for the Guild and when i thought i was done, heh everything came crashing down like an avalanche gonk I don't want to go into the specific details of how, why and whatever happened kinda thing... but i have finished and i'm more or less happy with the final results. Yup, the frontpage design's finished (part 1 of the Guild frontpage design) and i'm gonna get ready to finish the other design and finally will be the 2nd part of the Guild design smile

OMFG!!! This can't be happening gonk I've been spending 1 hour now to try and get Photobucket to upload my damn file, and it's just not doing it stressed Yeah, i've payed for the Pro account so i can upload swf files (Flash Movie files) and to upload files that're are quite large in size... DAMN IT!!! Seriously! Gimme a ******** break! scream

Okay, finished the entire designs except the last part of the frontpage. That's gonna take longer time but hopefully i'll get it done just in time ^^
