uhm... other than 007 and indiana jones, what else has had soviet bad guys?
idk, most of the movies i watch have nazi bad guys, mobster bad guys, drug dealer bad guys, or futuristic orwellian government agent bad guys. i really dont see very many russians - good or bad - in my movies.

Pretty much any movie or game with terrorists, video games in particular. Get Smart recently had Russian bad guys, and the new Transporter movie. Hellboy had a Russian bad guy. So did one of the Rocky movies. The Most Dangerous Game had a Russian bad guy, though that was pretty old. I watched The Man Who Knew Too Little the other day and it had Russian bad guys. In video games, Metal Gear, Stranglehold, Splinter Cell, and many others feature shooting Russians as they yell out butchered phrases in my native tongue with bad grammer and accents. The list goes on and on, I just don't have a good knowledge of movies.
Get Smart had to have Russian bad guys... it was based on an OLD tv show that spoofed James Bond. Suddenly have Arab bad guys would have been really bizarre.
Also, Iron Man had Middle Eastern enemies.
