I am hoping for a modern remake of FFVI on a console. It's not nearly as popular as it should be because of it's antiquated graphics. Though I know it's really unlikely to happen.

It had a great story w/ a TON of interesting characters & party combinations, with every character having unique abilities. You had to keep every character leveled up because they had you constantly breaking up into 2 or 3 groups. Remember the last dungeon where you had to use 3 full parties?

I probably see them remaking them both on a handheld within the forseeable future, because it's much cheaper & takes a lot less time to do that than come up with something new.

Leave it to Squenix to milk a game for every single penny it can possibly get.

I hope so, and think that they will, but secretly don't. xp

I just bought the advanced versions of both those games last year. >.<
(I still haven't played through both though)

I'd like to see some pretty graphics of course....and after they re-re-re-realese those games they'll make the re-release of VII. rofl

I've actually heard rumors of a DS remake of Final Fantasy V. I don't know if they're true or not, but I've heard something about some screenshots of it... Just something I've heard... I hope it's true, though! ^_^
