Though the leaves had already begun to change and the wind smelled a bit like winter, there were just enough flowers left to pick and give away. It had become a tradition for Sofia to go out once a month and find flowers for her lovely girlfriend, Elizabeth. Though they were very different, they were also very much alike. Maybe that was what kept the spark between them, or perhaps it was true love.
It was early morning on this day when Sofia went out on her little journey for flowers. Her pinkish wings seemed to sparkle in the light, similar to the water below her. In the water she could see her reflection, and smiled down at it. The kunkun knew that she was pretty, but only because Elizabeth made her feel that way.
Seconds later she found herself coming upon a waterfall with many flowers and butterflies. They all were surely the last of the season, as the grass around it was starting to turn brown. Spotting two white flowers, she landed with a graceful thud. Sofia was about to pick them when she heard a noise directly behind her.

As for what Sofia heard remained to be seen as tiny butterfly wings fluttered agitatedly in their place among the flowers. The owner of said wings was wiggling about in a way that could attract some very unsavory predators but her mind was currently on the task at hand. "Drat... it won't budge." The soft tinkling voice managed to sail over the dull roar of the waterfall in the background. Sounding quite irritated as Leeloo pulled with all her might at the object of her current distraction.
It appeared to be quite a find. Who would have thought someone would leave such a shinny trinket behind. So round and quite big compared to her size, it was a wonder the flower she was occupying didn't bend under the weight. Finally after much struggling the bracelet and Pala were safely tucked atop the white flower basking in the rays of the sun. Leeloo huffed to get her breath back but was glad for the work as it produced a very interesting reward.
It appeared someone had dropped their bracelet some time ago. The original silver sheen was dull but with a little cleaning it would be good as new. Leeloo was glad for this, something else to add to her many trinkets she collected throughout the area. It wasn't much of a hobby but in her mind's eye she was doing a public service by removing items that didn't belong tossed about and scattered in such a fashion. Even as she began rubbing at the silver she had yet to realize someone was close by.

The female kunkun watched quietly as the butterfly pala worked to get something free from the flowers. At some point it almost smacked her in the face, and Sofia had to stifle a laugh. Why would she be trying to lift something so big without any help? She tried to squint to see what the item was, but it was hard to see with light gleaming into her light green eyes.
It took a few moments for her to speak up, as there were several times when she could have sworn the pretty pala had seen her. "Um, excuse me," the little voice said, trying to sound friendly. Looking over, Sofia saw why the bracelet was so important. It was gold with several rubies, and appeared to be very expensive. It was quite a find for such a little pala. "Do you need help taking that somewhere?"

Leeloo already had plans for this bracelet. With a little clean up work some redecoration of her home, she would have a nice addition to her vast collection of shinnies. This was a proper find considering the time of year too. It would get colder and colder where less people would be out to enjoy the weather. Less people meant less shinnies they'd leave behind after a day of frolicking in the sun.
By this time Sofia's voice finally caught wind and Leeloo jolted hugging her bracelet to ward off any that would try to take it. Her wings fluttered in warning before her emerald orbs fell upon the kunkun. "Um.." The articulate response was automatic, at this point she was deciding whether to accept the help or try on her own. One glance at the trinket provided her answer. With a sigh she stood dusting herself off and giving a quick flutter of wings. "I'm sorry where are my manners, I'm Leeloo. I was kind of hoping there was some help available. You're a life saver!" She beamed softly emerald orbs peering for a moment at the kunkun. "Who might you be?" She asked genuinely curious now that a new face had appeared.

Sofia was thrilled when Leeloo was glad to accept her help. The kun loved helping more than anything else, especially since in her youth it was almost always about her. It was better having the spotlight on someone else, or so she thought. Holding out a hand, Sofia once again repeated her hello. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Leeloo. That is a very pretty name." Sofia could not help but smile, and wonder who came up with it. It was rather unusual, but it was not at all boring.
In fact, it was probably just as unique as she was. Her body was yellow, as was the majority of her wings. Her long hair had little yellow, however it did have two gold clips. It was long, and her bangs hung lost past her face. "My name is Sofia, by the way."

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you Sofia and thank you. You're name is pretty too." Leeloo confirmed. She smiled brightly always that hidden mischievous in the tinkling of her voice. Looking up to the sky she sniffed the air, glade for the crisp day. One of few considering the season; finding the bracelet had been a grand find indeed. "Well I don't live to far off. Near a butterfly meadow over those trees." She pointed in the distance, not far but enough to be a hassle had she been left to carry the bracelet alone.
Looking over the trinket now she thought a moment wondering what would be the easiest way for them to carry it. They could both fly which was good but it would still be a hassle if they tried to get the bracelet to its destination in one flight. "Hmm, I think it would be better if we get to the trees and take a rest. No telling what's roaming around right now and I don't want to risk getting you into any trouble if possible. Do you think you can get that far without a break?" Leeloo asked surveying the distance. To a human it was nothing but to creatures a small as them, it would be a distance and hefting such a trinket would make it a bit daunting but not impossible. She looked to Sofia with twinge of worry.

The little kun tried to measure the distance in her head, but from way down on the ground, it was too hard to tell. Fluttering her wings just enough to gain some height, Sofia realized how hard this might be for her. Leeloo was bigger than her, and though probably would have trouble herself, there would be an even harder time for Sofia. Placing a hand on her chin, she knew that if she put her mind to it, they could do anything.
"I should be ok," she said as her feet gently touched the ground. She would be, if only for awhile. "If I have trouble, I can let you know, right?" Surely if she needed it, Leeloo would let her take a break. She was nice enough, afterall, for deciding that the forest may not be a safe place for her. She would understand taking a tiny break. Right?

"Ah good then we can head to the trees. If you need a break let me know, we'll try to find some place safe to rest." Leeloo nodded taking hold of the bracelet carefully.
"I have a friend who likes to collect trinkets like these too. He's probably worried about me being out so long. Lets try to hurry." She informed looking around a few more times before they would head out. Never knew what could be hiding in bushes and trees. When she was satisfied nothing of danger would swoop out to attack them she gave Sofia a reassuring nod. "You ready?" She asked once more.

Nodding, Sofia fluttered her wings rapidly as they lifted the trinket. It was indeed heavy, but not so much as it was expected to be. In fact, this was probably a good workout for the kun, as she had been a couch potato lately.
On what was actually a short flight to the trees, Sofia wondered who this 'friend' could be. Would he be as exotic looking as Leeloo? More so? Less? Maybe she should have invited Elizabeth. Then they could each have brought a friend along. Maybe Elizabeth would show up soon, looking for her. Though, that usually was not the blonde kun's luck.
"I think I need a break for a second," she said as they reached the forest. "I mean...I think we were going to stop anyway, but I just wanted to make sure."

Leeloo nodded as they came upon a branch to rest among the trees. "Yes lets rest." She offered quickly taking a seat. The trinket was placed carefully next to them as she stood to stretch out her wings and arms. "Ah that was quite a flight? You're doing well so far, thank you so much for the help, Sofia." Leeloo beamed fluttering her wings as was usual when excited. After a moment she sat cross legged curiously watching the kunkun. "What brings you to these parts. I haven't seen you around here before?"
==== Meanwhile a very irate pala paced back in forth in all his fine glory. His golden rings clinking delicately against each other. His long crimson cloth dragged along the ground behind him as he paced the confinements of his tree home. "Where is she?" He grumbled his silky chocolate voice filled the silence around him. "She only said she'd be out for a moment... this is far more than a moment." Speaking to himself was no new feature, something he often done when upset or thinking loudly. With Leeloo fluttering about alone out there he could barely enjoy an afternoon nap knowing she might be in trouble... after a moments more of thinking to himself aloud he finally made up his mind. Securing his crimson cloth around his form he quickly took flight, his parrot wings spreading wide to catch the wind as he hurried to find his companion.

In another part of the woods, someone was feeling similar to a certain handsome pala. Elizabeth had been waiting at home for her partner, to which she had still not come home. "I hope she's alright," the noir angel kun whispered, her heart in her throat. It was while she paced the house that her mind was made up: go look for Sofia.
It took only a matter of moments for Elizabeth to find the neo siren kun, who by the way, was chatting with a pretty female pala. "Well it appears she's safe," Elizabeth mumbled from behind a rock she was hiding behind. "Looks like she's not lonely, either." Though Liz!Kun was not the jealous type, it appeared her green monster was showing. Oh please, her mind snapped, you know darn well that Sofia only cares for you. There is no trouble in paradise. Plus it only looks like she was helping carry that bracelet.
"Honestly," Sofia began, placing a strand of hair behind her ear, "I came to find some flowers for my girlfriend. She usually does that for me, but I figured it was time for me to return the sweet favor." A sweet smile stretched across her face. It was a smile saved only for Liz!Kun, or when talking about her. She was also no longer just calling Elizabeth her partner, but her girlfriend.
"While looking, I came across this place accidentally. It is very pleasant here." Stretching, her eyes roamed the area they just flew over. "It must be nice to live around here. How did you find this place?"
