Shizzle, you do know, that by doing this you're basically charging her and it basically doesn't really solve anything, it might dicipline her and you get money (Seems kind of unnecesary) and revenge but.. It might ruin her chance at education, her parents (don't know if her parents have anything to do with this thing) might have to pay for the fee of bail and she still winds up hating you. If she were really determined she could do something when she gets out of juvie or jail or something.
My advice, drop the charge, then hint at a threat (in accordance to law) to continue charging if she doesn't stop, if she still continues after repeated warnings it's her loss. What did you fight about anyway? Who started the fight? EDIT: (don't say sorry for anything you didn't do, she might use that against you) talk it out with her without fighting, is it worth the trouble it might cause your friends or family or her friends or her family? If possible, I advise you to talk to her about her behaviour and what it's going to lead to eventually, like maybe jail.. Talk to her calmly and civily even if she shouts at you. I understand if you're defending yourself physcally and your friends or family's honor though. This opinion is only valid if your opponent doesn't aim to kill or damage you way beyond repair. Anyways, I don't know this girl and I don't know all the facts.
