Shemot is a character invented by me and Simon (Nebelstern). His life and death are chronicled in about 15 pages of poetry, centring around one 6 page epic.
His real name is Jaustan, his home in the duchy of Shemot was destroyed by bandits when he was a child and he blamed the king through ignorance. He then threatened the old Duke of Shemot until he was named his successor. He then used this position of power to become close to the king. When the king fell ill, he gave Shemot chharge of his b*****d son. Shemot then destroyed the king's reputation by saying that he wasn't ill, just neglectful of his kingdom. He enlisted the help of a down-on-his-luck dragon to aid the destruction of the king's popularity. He then led a rebellion aiming to put the b*****d on the throne, culminating in a battle in which the king swung for Shemot, and hit the b*****d, killing him. Shemot then killed the king and took the throne. He ruled well until he was murdered by his son so that he could marry his mother. The funeral was a shambles, ending in his son poisoning himself by eating the funeral feast (the dragon whom shemot had enlisted).
That is just the basic outline...some people don't get the humour in it biggrin

Shakespeare's Macbeth cross Edipous(sp?) Rex.

Well, it started off as a fairy tale, and then we just decided to be silly. Some people think it is profound and philosophical...In truth, it is just boredom

Shakespeare's Macbeth cross Edipous(sp?) Rex. Well, it started off as a fairy tale, and then we just decided to be silly. Some people think it is profound and philosophical...In truth, it is just boredom Hm... In Macbeth, the main character (Macbeth) tries to take over a kingdom by murdering the king and, being second in line, gaining the role of king. He is then murdered by the dead king's sons.
In Edipious Rex, a child is left out for wolves because he was a b*****d and then was picked up by some peasants and taken home. Later on he was told by a prophet that he would kill his father and marry his mother. When he grew up he went exploring or something, i can't remember... then a man was on the road blocking him. He then issued his soldier to kill him... and so they did. Later on he fell in love with the queen of a neighbouring kingdom... who was his mother. And thus, he killed his father and married his mother. His mother hanged herself after she found out, and Edipious (main character) blinded himself with the pins on her dress.
Tragic.
You can't escape fate i guess...
