According to supernaturalwiki.com - Castiel is the angel of Thursday according to the occult tellings of Dictionary of Angels: Including the Fallen Angels. Supposedly this might be a tie in to the fact that Supernatural airs on Thursdays.

Most people probably have heard of Uriel though since he; along with Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael make the top four most popular angels in the Bible.
