Or do atheists have just as much of a holier-then-thou vibe as their christian and catholic brothers, whom they detest to a high degree, do? surprised
It bugs me a little that in atheist organization can say they use logic to guide them, but don't look into other religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism as much as they look into christianity and the like before they make fun of them? Seriously, all the arguments against Buddhism show little linkings to the actual Pali Canon or Mahayana Sutras; most of it as well seems directed at the monks daily life, not the laymen.. But when they make fun of christians, they make fun of the laymen AND the priests.
It almost seems as if many atheists had a bad relationship with someone of the church of their life and will do anything to make them feel bad. Very little of it seems to be non-aggressive, and actually informative. Most of it seems like bullying.. the same bullying they recieved for their views of godlessness.

There's atheism as a, "Yeah I don't believe it, whatever," and there's atheism as in Richard Dawkin's, "I'm going to shove this down your throat!!!!"
I think it's all rather silly.

I've noticed. I'm not an atheist, I'm agnostic. But I'm the same way, in my attitude. I'm not a b***h about anything, though. I'm respectful enough about it, and all. Christianity just irks the hell out of me.
