Micarreth sauntered his way up to Tal's shop. His amber eyes flicked from time to time down any street's he passed. Since he had inadvertantly managed to irritate some old drow he found himself nervousely scanning the crowds for his face, in the hopes of seeing first so he could scamper away. He had managed to finally impress upon his brother the importance of enchanting his crimson scarf, so now he could, in a childishly delightful manner, change it from red to black at will. He enjoyed watching the ripple of color as it changed. Now though he allowed it to stay it's bold red color, such a handsome contrast to the black spider silk garments he wore.

Pausing before the shop he eyed it critically and ran his fingertips over the worn leather bound book tucked against his chest inside his shirt. He had spent hours determining which book to bring for the...exchange...as it were. Eventually he decided on the older journal, written by a Velguk in the past who had dabbled in his own poison mixtures. Micarreth was certain there were poisons in here that most drow did not know about. At least he hoped so.... Lifting a hand, he pushed on the door to enter. His eyes sweeping about as he wondered just how much he could expect to get out of Tal....

While moving jars and bottles of various colours and sizes about on a self, Taliesin made quick little notes on a sheet of paper. It seemed a constant nuisance that no matter how often he stocked up at the market, he always seemed to be short of something. He kept promising himself he'd buy a slave or take on an apprentice or something to help with these menial tasks, but he just never seemed to get around to it. As he moved towards another set of drawers in his search for things to add to his shopping list a chime rang out, telling him someone had just come in.

It was unusual to get a customer this late in the evening, but business was business. Heading towards the door, Tal paused to quickly check his reflection in a mirror, to make sure he looked presentable and then went through to the shop front. "Good day sir, how can I- Oh... It's you..." Tals initially warm and welcoming tone evaporated the instant he saw it was Micarreth. "I had expected you to drop by sooner, I was beginning to wonder if you were ever going to show up."

Tal looked thoughtful for a moment then snapped his fingers, in response teh lights in the front of the shop dimmed considerably and a faint click came from the front door as it locked. "Well come one then. We'll go up to my library. First though you'll have to undress, those clothes are totally unsuitable for your lessons..." By this stage Tal had his back turned to Mica, which was a good thing since he was unable to hold back the large smirk from forming on his face as he teased the younger man.

Micarreth was hardly surprised at the reaction he recieved when Tal realized who he was. Crossing his arms over his chest, Micarreth fixed Tal with a unfriendly scowl. "I had some busniess that preoccupied my time. Plus I had to find a reference of information that you'd be able to handle." Mica's lips split into a false sweet smile. He wanted to add a biting comment to his slight insult...but...

He really didn't want to piss Tal off too much. He'd end up in another bad situation and he didn't like the thought of being, once more, one upped by the mage. His initial hostility was merely from his wounded pride.

Micarreth began to follow Tal up the stairs while ignoring the creepy tingle that ran down his spine at hearing the door locked behind him. He was fast coming to realize he disliked being magically locked in places.

"Eh!?" Mica responded while Tal's back was turned. His amber eyes flared wide with a furious suspicion. He was only trying to get him naked again Goddess damn him! All of his weapons and tools were in these cloths as well, if he took them off he'd have nothing to use. "What are you about? Why are they unsuitable?" Goddess he swore if Tal was just trying to get a peek at him....Burryna was right, he ought to have just never gone back to the mage. Then he'd have free use of the ring and none of this embaressing anger....

Tal continued to walk, back to Mica as he tried to keep how much he was enjoying this out of his tone. "To use magic requires a very specific frame of mind. I have been trained to such a degree I can enter that state of mind in a heartbeat, even under great duress. You're new to all this so to get you into that frame of mind will require deep meditation. Sitting or lying down while naked would be optimal."

Tal was of course lying, but in the past Mica had shown an extremely poor understanding of magic, not even knowing what Tal considered teh basics that any common Drow should know. So Tal was again preying on Mica's ignorance. Firstly because the assassin had dared to try and cross him during their first dealing, secondly Tal knew Mas would enjoy knowing his ignorant brother was being humiliated and finally Mica was a handsome guy and Tal was a pervert.

At one time Tal had even considered tricking Mica into drinking a drug that would but him into a stupor. Tal could have his way with him and when Mica recovered he'd have a headache a gap in his memory and a few unaccountable bruises and aches over his body. Of course Tal had shelved such plans since meeting Mica's far more appealing older brother, but he could still try pushing Mica's buttons.

"Well? We don't have forever, are you going to get undressed or not? It's not like I haven't seen it all before." Tal couldn't stop a small snort of a laugh from escaping with that comment.

Micarreth was uncertain if Tal was serious or taking advantage of him. The younger drow found his lack of knowledge to be frustrating. He could refuse, then Tal would just humilate him by telling him to leave. He wanted that magic though. Now more then ever. If he came across that Judicator again he needed more power to be able to ensure he escaped on his own. not because of some interference. Goddess that shamed him more then the prospect of being naked in front of Tal.

Actually that sort of surprised Mica. As he grumbled under his breath about damn peverted mages, he began to unwind his prized scarf from about his neck. "All this trouble just for a few spells..." He grumbled a little louder. Micarreth began to wind the scarf into a loop while uncoiling it from his body. Around the neck, over the chest, around the waist. The scarf itself was at least three times longer then Mica was. Within it's folds a pair of lock picks, the two parts of his blow gun, a small anti-toxin vial, and a collapsable dagger were revealed. These items he tucked into a pants pocket so he could return them to their places later.

After removing the scarf the rest of his cloths came in short order. Of course this meant revealing the fact he had nine daggers hidden somewhere in his clothing, along with a pair of cored metal tubes, and of course the journal he had brought. This he flopped on top of his cloths and tried as hard as he could not to cringe at his own nakedness.

"There. Fine. Now what?" He demanded of the mage. If this was a state of concentration he already knew he'd either have a easy or hard time with it. he could lose himself quite easily in someof his practices when his blod lust was raised. But this would be different...right?

"This whole mindset thing is just concentrating on a goal right? I already do that when I'm stalking."

Hearing the sound of rustling fabric, Taliesin turned and almost went wide eyed as he watched Mica comply to the ridiculous demand and undress. Tal desperately wished there was some way he could preserve teh image before him for posterity or at least so he could show Mas. Taking a moment to feast his eyes on Micarreth's exposed body, Tal then looked the young assassin in the eyes and suddenly broke into a fit of laughter. "You really did it!! The day you were spawned the gods must have been short on brains and substituted an orcish one into your pretty little head."

"I wonder how far I could have gone with this? Just how naive and gullible are you? If I said I had to give you a massage to unlock your energy flows would you have laid there and let me grope you? If I said I had to charge you my special wand would you have bent over a table and taken it? A face like yours and a brain like that, I'm surprised you haven't fallen prey to some lusty lad already."

Eventually Tal got his laughter under control and as he wiped tears from his eyes turned towards a shelf and started searching for a book. "Consider that your first lesson. When dealing with magic you must be able to tell what is real. What is, what could be and what shouldn't be. If you can't even tell when someone is making a fool of you, how could you hope to see through a mages illusion? Or to control your own?" Taking a book from the shelf Tal brought it to a reading table nearby and glanced at Mica as he passed.

"You really thought that you'd be able to concentrate better if you were sitting on a hard floor, shivering in the cold with me starring at your crotch? Is that how you'd normally focus your mind? You need to think things through if you ever hope to put what I'll teach you to any use. And while I find the view aesthetically pleasing, do put your clothes on, since even I can't concentrate properly with you on display like that."

Right then Tal was having a hard time fighting back his lust. Mica was basically defenseless, no one probably knew he was here and Tal could render him helpless with one quick spell. And then? Tal was nearly overwhelmed by the variety of perverse pleasures he could could subject Mica to. Only the thought of Mas finding out kept Tal in check. But Tal was going to need a cold bath or visit with Mas himself after that little show.

"Anyway if you're done making a fool of yourself we can get to work. You can always get naked again afterwards if your that eager to be with me?" Taliesin flashed Mica a wicked grin in between flipping through pages of the book.

The moment he heard the laughter Micarreth was aware he'd been a fool. More so then he had any other time before. He felt a flush of embaressment rise. His cheeks burned like no flame he'd ever been near to had. His amber eyes narrowed as he fought, with little success, a very violent urge to lunge for the throat that was speaking those words.

His hands tightened further into fists as Tal had a good laugh at his expense. He felt as if his muscles were so tight that he was trembleing. maybe he really was? It was the taste of blood in his mouth that nearly proved too much for him though. His left hand uncurled, pricks of blood from where his fingernails had cut into his palms stains his fingertips, and he groped blindly for one of the daggers from the mass he had removed. He wanted to jab the point of his blade into each of those laughing eyes and chew that throat out himself!

It was nearly impossible to keep himself from lunging towards tal in his shame. But...their prior encounter was enough of a sobering memory to keep Micarreth from making a greater fool of himself. Micarreth relaxed his other fist and instead of grabbing at the dagger he desperatly wished to hold, he grabbed up his clothing and began to angerly redress himself.

"Quar'valsharess xsa p***k sucking dalharuk d' natha cretok's ssindossa" Micarreth made no atempt to quiet the long stream of exceptionally foul curses that spilled from that 'pretty face' as he redressed. The stream of gutter filth that years worth of tavern visiting spewed from him like a unsavory latrine back up until it was he was fully redressed and staring at Tal heatedly.

"Stop being a ssindossa rrorrok and teach me what I need to know. I'm vithin serious about this. Your the damn mage, not me. It's already been determined I don't know anything about magic."

It would certainly serve a purpose though, this occurance. His cloths would never come off, even in part, when around Tal again. And he'd make certain to second guess every damn thing he said to....and in the manner of second guessing..he'd make damn well certain that certain facts about his poisons were neglected to be passed along!

His eyes flicked to the book that Tal had laid down, but he stiffly remained standing apart from the mage.

Tal listened to Mica's outburst calmly then smirked a little and shrugged a shoulder. "Tsk, tsk. Thats hardly the appropriate short of language to use when addressing your teacher and master? And where would the son of a noble House even learn a word like ssindossa? Have you been visiting woman of ill repute?"

Shaking his head slightly Tal crossed his arms and gave Mica a disapproving stare. "There is little point getting angry at me, for your own blunder. I never forced or coerced you into undressing. I asked and you obeyed like a well trained puppy. You were practically eager... Tell me, did you really here to learn a few spells, or are you haunted by memories of when I had my hands on your body and now you crave more? Secretly deep down you actually like being mistreated by me... Maybe that brother you spoke of isn't the only fairy in the family?"

Tal slowly walked around teh table, closing the distance between himself and Mica and as he neared he reached up to try and touch Mica's cheek. "We can skip this charade and you can get naked again and I'll treat you like the cheap 'ssindossa' you really want to be?"

Micarreth, in truth, enjoyed spouting the foul language. Enjoyed acting like a houseless street b*****d. He enjoyed seeing the shame on his brothers face and enjoyed seeing the helpless angry his blue eyes. What he liked best was the dissappointment his brother seemed to exhibit whenever he began to act out. Why else would he purposefully come to dinner looking like he had just gotten done with a knife fight in a back ally? Every little sour thing that he could do to his brother he took shamless pleasure in. So of course he'd only feel satisfaction when Tal would rebuke him. Mas had said things similar to that for years now and he'd not paid any heed.

That flare of satisfaction died quickly though as Tal would continue his 'lecture'. Though...it was nothing at all like the ones he got from his brother. "Vith no! I want to learn those spells. You said you'd teach them to me and I want them!" Haunted by memories? Micarreths face wrinkled. Oh yes. He had memories all right, but they were not the sort that Tal was insinuating.

"Shut up already! Mas is the damn fairy! His father was a vithin surface elf!" Mica threw a hand upwards in disgust towards the ceiling. "You can see it in his ugly eyes! He's got the same spineless cowering nature of them too!"

Mica, though he ranted a little, jerked back from Tal's approch, and once again when he reached to touch his cheek. He lifted his hand, intending to slap Tal's own away as a reaction to the the mage's advances. "Don't touch me!" His voice squeaked just a little bit. "Either teach me the magic or I'm leaving!!"

Hearing Micarreth speaking ill of Mas sparked something in Taliesin that made him want to clout teh dimwitted toad. Had his staff been in reach Tal may well have swung for Mica with it. For now he just starred coldly into Mica's eyes while he snuffed out that spark before it grew into something worse, after all Tal wasn't supposed to have even met Mas, let alone have reason to defend his name. Turning his back to Mica, Tal stalked back to the table. "Disappointing..."

Up till now Tal had been intentionally trying to provoke Mica so as to trip his latest spell, sadly it seemed Mica was getting a handle on his temper. Tal was so looking forward to the consequences he was a little disappointed now that nothing was going to happen.

Leaning over the book and flipping a few more pages Tal then glanced over at Mica again. "The first spell I'll teach you is one of the most basic anyone can learn, detect magic. I assume even you can figure out it's purpose from the name, yes? A mage like me can use it to detect teh presence of magic, even tracking auras of powerful spells, gauging the related school of magic and even identifying the individual spells or components to teh magic at work. You on the other hand... I'll be happy if you can tell a magic ring from a mundane one."

"Had you known about this sooner you'd never have made that mistake of trying to double cross me in teh first place. Also had you this spell you'd feel teh magic that permeates this entire building. You see my disappointment lies in my inability to trip that petty temper of yours. I had so hoped to see my latest work in action... Oh well another time..."

Tal seemed lost in thought for a moment then seemed to refocus on the book before him, turning he waved Mica closer. "Come on then we might as well get this started, you have to look of a slow learner about you and I have other things to finish before the night is over."

His heart was racing and he felt...feverish. The blood taste was in his mouth and he was starting to question the merit of going through this 'training'. When it was that Tal withdraw, he felt as if iron bands about his chest had released and were now allowing him to breath naturally. With Tal distancing himself Micarreth found it easier to calm himself down and subdue the great urge to stab something into him. The word 'Disappointing' started his heart beating quickly again. He expected...more after that. Some sort of additional slight. Though it did not come as quickly as he expected.

Micarreth slipped his fingers of his left hand into the cuff of his right and began to massage at his wrist in an attempt to loosen the tense muscles in his hand. If he had time to get alone he'd have closed his eyes and tried to drown the boiling sensation he felt in darkness, but this was not the place for it. Certainly not the place for it... Instead he listened, trying to focus on Tal as he jabbed with needle like prescion at him with his words.

"Fine...detect mage..." He replied in a rather sullen voice. His feet took him, granted a bit relculantly, to Tal. He did not like the jabs...and he could already feel the ache in his jaw from the tightened muscles. His eyes flickered up to the mage with a sharp disdainful glare.

"What? What latest work? What the vith were you trying to pull off?" He should not be so..angry...but it was hard to keep his temper down to a low roar. Tal seemed to know just what to say and do to get a rise out of him. Inwardly he was trying to calm himself by thinking more..rationally. He couldn't expect any better treatment from another mage. Haughty damn b*****d..they were all the same...

Micarreth, now near the book, glared down at the pages. His eyes raking over the print slowly. This wasn't something he wanted to teach himself. Unlike the poisons he did not think a standby vial would save him if something went wrong...
