Aliases/ Nicknames: Wanderer, Dark Nightmare.

Physical Description: his body build is above average. 6.0" in height, moderately long light brown hair with long bangs that can cover his light brownish eyes. He dons a battle outfit of dark color, the outfit adheres to the body almost like a second skin, and above that he wears dark clothing to add an extra layer of protection, often seen donning a cloak or a scarf, Kratos carries his zanpakuto on his waist. though hidden most of the time, his body carries scars from his past.
Zanpakuto:
Name: Kurai Ha (means, Dark Edge)
Sealed form: a blade five and a half feet long, not counting the hilt, the hilt is inlaid with black edged runes which spell the word "power" in an ancient language.
Shikai: The blade blade turns dark in color and its edge glows a crimson red. the blade takes reiatsu from Kratos and converts it to the glow that is visible on the edge, from it he is capable of launching wind pressure combined with the reiatsu to form crimson wave, this attack he dubbed the "Rising Phoenix wave" the blade also boosts Krato's agility and reaction time in considerable amounts, the boost is not a full time boost, but rather its used in short outburst when Kratos decides its needed. (Not yet accomplished)
Release command (Shikai): Mezameru (awaken) Kurai Ha
Bankai: The Blade now releases a crimson aura and the edge glows an incandescent Crimson, a chain emerges from the bottom of the hilt and attached at the end of the chain is a dark crescent moon blade. the crescent moon blade is capable of releasing the same wave as the shikai form of the blade first displayed and when the situation calls for it its able to expand and grow to form a blade shield, it leaves the crescent shape and turns into a full circle, after its used as a shield it turns transparent and wont be usable for a set amount of time. in adition the agility and reaction time boosts are greatly enhanced and can be accesed for a longer period of time (meaning the outbursts of speed last longer) (Not yet accomplished)
Release command (Bankai): Bankai, Horobusu (destroy) Eien No Hikari Kurai Ha
Special Accessories: Kratos dons special clothing, his whole attire is colored black, and is infused with essence of a phoenix. this does not mean its indestructible it merely means it mends itself after a set amount of time has passed, it does hold though that everytime it mends itself it becomes a bit stronger than before. the only signs or armor he wears are a chest plate that adds defensive cover on his chest (obviously) and lower stomach areas, he wears bracers on his arms, and often times wears a scarf or a cloak, both are mementos from his teacher whom he lost a long time ago. while both the scarf and the cloak are of mystic origins its uses are unknown even to kratos himself, and thus are treated as normal clothing.
Skills: Kratos excels in hand to hand combat knowing various styles of martial art along with his own unique style he dubbed "phoenix fist". he also excels in swordsmanship having been trained for it since he was 3 years old. kratos can withstand a moderately high amount of damage without it taking a toll on him, as long as the damaged area is vital. in terms of speed and agility he is also quite skilled being able to react and counter to enemy's attacks but this comes with the experience he has. his one downfall is the fact he is unable to handle kidou due to the innexperience he has in managing his energy for very specific purposes.
Abilities: though not kido per see, Kratos is able to use his "energy" (reiatsu really but he didnt know it was called like that) and release it in the form of a beam like blast, he is also able to conduct a variation of it in which instead of releasing a single blast he releases several but smaller blasts. he is also able to use the reiatsue for hand to hand combat, giving his hand to hand combat techniques explosive results.
Personality: Kratos is a silent person, he rarely says anything and when he does its only a couple of words with none to spare. his serious demeanor is in part due to his past, however when in battle his demeanor changes entirely, he smirks and grins as often as possible during a battle for it is the one thing that he enjoys to the fullest. in spite of his lust for battle he is not unreasonable and wont go out of his way just to fight someone. carefree and somewhat lazy times.
Background: in Life Kratos had been a wandering warrior, looking for the next fight, his past had been a dark one, he used to be a general of reknown in the ancient times. but the weight of his sins finally caught on to him. ashamed of his deeds he fled from the kingdom he had once called his own, and began to wander in search of his redemption. the kindgdom he deserted hunted him without cease, until at last, one hundred soldiers caught up with him, and in a bloddy battle were felled by his blade, however he was mortally wounded and died as he wandered away from the battlefield.in life and after it he has had no one to call friend and no bonds he can relate to. he is a wanderer and nothing more.
