i found this site back before halloween (my mom and i have always been really big on d.i.y. arts and crafts, especially for the holidays) and i wanted to share it with you guys whee it's a really cute little cornhusk kitchen witch. my mom has always wanted one, not particularly made from cornhusks, but a kitchen witch and so i decided to make her one for christmas 4laugh and it's really not that hard, the hat is a little tricky, but well worth it in the end, she is so cute! the instructions say to use pipecleaners, but i used raffia because i forgot to buy pipecleaners and it worked really well... i made one for my kitchen too 3nodding

i even found a poem for kitchen witches, i plan to make a little card to go with my mom's witch... i don't remember where i found it, i had it written down in a notebook:
Nothing spills, nothing spoils
Over cooks or over boils.
This kitchen witch upon her broom
Brings love and luck to any room.

Kezzie Redlioness That is just the cutest little thing! 4laugh You find some really neat stuff. well thank you ^^ like i said, my mom and i are big into arts and crafts so we're always on the lookout for fun stuff to make. i remember when i was a little kid we would make bats out of black fabric, starch and pantyhose eggs, way back when they still came in eggs, lol.

Oh it's fine here. People don't really look in the research sub-form unless they are looking for something in perticular. So it's a good idea to have it in the main forum aswell so people know it will be there. I love arts and crafts. ^^ I made scarfs, candles and cards for everyone for Christmas. I wish I would have had more time this year, I love Yule crafts the best.

If i could figure out my whole camera thing; you guys would love my kitchen! I have herbs and flowers drying from my ceiling everywhere and it looks just like the one from Charmed! Same format as well. My mother said the kitchen belongs to me and they just borrow it to cook. She wants to learn where is what on the ceiling so if she needs an herb not in my cupboard, she can pick some from the ceiling.

A kitchen is never to small. Just think of the possibilities. I have little things tucked away every where in my little "closet kitchen."
