A few suggestions for those of you planning to post in the International food forum:
- Please include the culture of origin in brackets at the beginning of the topic. This may help people look for the types of food they'd like to find recipes for, since International sure covers a lot of ground. wink
Example: "[Chinese] Pot Stickers"
- Please include some background information about the food/recipe, if you have it! If it's a authentic family recipe that's been passed down for generations, we'd love to hear about the history of the dish and how it's traditionally made! After all, part of the fun of food is learning about it. smile
- Please include shopping tips, if unusual ingredients are involved. Some ingredients for international dishes may be difficult to find in ordinary supermarkets, and it'd be helpful to let people know where they might be able to find some of the more unusual items. It may also help to include acceptable substitutes or methods of preparing some of the items at home, in case people aren't able to buy them.
Thanks, everyone!
